Ever since Anuj arrived on scene the V quotient(read as VILE, VINDICTIVE, VEOMOUS, VICIOUSNESS whatever is your choice) seems to be spreading faster than the Corona. The way he stoops and stalks make his antics as disgusting as a spurned lover who cannot no take for an answer. The way he smirks, taunts, sulks, seethes in anger and manipulates makes him as vicious as any evil character in fiction. There was a sense of class and even his portrayal of a manipulator of the other idiots to achieve his agenda seems tolerable than this. Eavesdropping and showing up wherever A&A are seems more than coincidence. If this is the way his character is to be redeemed, the CVs seem to have lost it.

That’s exactly it! he is vile, vindictive and venomous...I dont get how and why he needs to be redeemed, his actions are well and truly beyond reform.

Vanraj is a top notch selfish, narcissist, psycho who’s earned himself so much hate that its well beyond any kind of redemption.

Anu isnt safe anywhere, he literally stalks her everywhere and cannot miss an opportunity to bring her down and he reckons its jealousy? well yeah but thats just a teeny tiny part of that massive psychotic agenda he carries in his messed up and bloated head.

I get what you're saying. But I have been around people like Vanraj, so this seems reasonable. He's facing the ultimate sense of loss right now. The loss of control. He's like a fish out of water. In situations like these, even seasoned abusers turn into blatantly vile people. The desparation makes them lose that outer layer of class & they use tactics they usually never would.

At least I hope that's what I hope the writers are trying to achieve. Crossing my fingers that it's intentional & not bad writing.

Vanraj still harbours the impression that he can rile up Anupama. That his words

Will make her traumatized. He has been idle and the disappointment that his marriage to kavya had alienated him further from family and opportunities is rankling him.

Vanraj has really embodied 50 shades of grey

I’m actually enjoying watching him cause it just gives Anu another chance to tell him off & ‘resize’ him smaller

Plus SP does an amazing job in the role …he is a real treat to watch. He has really perfected that ‘I’m an evil b@stard’ smirk only for Anu to wipe it off within seconds

Smile smile and yet be a villian seems so apt for him.
