It's that time of the year again when avid Star Plus viewers vote for their favourite characters. The Star Parivaar Awards is much more than just a television event. It's a platform for our viewers to let us know which television characters influence their lives and who they watch without fail.

Established in 2002, the Star Parivaar Awards has grown from strength to strength in the last five years and has been consistently appreciated for its novel, fun-filled and entertaining acts. The Star bahus, pitas, betas, bhais, bhabhis et al perform under one roof at the most prestigious event of the year.

This unique awards spectacle, only for the popular characters on Star Plus, was instituted to recognise the appreciation of the TV viewers by providing them a platform to choose their most loved characters on small screen. Each year, the response to this event has been nothing short of astounding and appreciative.

Living up to the audiences' expectations, this years' Star Parivaar Awards promises to be grander than ever before with innovative performances as the old Parivaar characters make way for the new characters.
