I feel the same to some extent. In some ways it’s a sad thing because from my understanding Tushar mostly does new school, also he apparently did try old school in the second episode and flow does old school hip hop, she also does freestyle which is dance improvisation without any choreography. I loved loved her style and her dance in her first audition. Tushar was never the right guru for flow according to me, keeping aside the offscreen vibes. And recently when she danced on Mere Naseem in Hema Malini episode, she was more of Tushar than herself when she first came into SD. It’s sad because she is so young to realise and figure out what style she wants to do or learn and want to continue to do. As an adult one can decide based on your strength and weakness and your love for a certain style but when you are young and part of a show and you are taught by same person for a long time, in this case around six months, then your style changes and some how u end up adapting to the new style and imbibing what you see and what you are taught because you don’t know any better. I don’t know how she will turn out be post SD but i am saying this because it has happened with Rohan from DID, when he came to the auditions and danced, he really had immense versatility and he did quick style but he got stuck with the famous Raghav style, even got the name Raghav ki parshai, he also collaborated with Paul. Now all I see in him is a mix of Paul and Raghav. Which may not be a bad thing but there is also a thing about being able to discover your own self as a dancer and creating your own style, once you get habituated, it’s difficult to go back to a clean stale and I am afraid that might happen to flow. In that aspect I respect Sanchit because he has created his own style and is confident enough to stick to it and it will only get better from here for him. Lol long ranting… but I wanted to write this for the longest time lol after seeing Rohan in Dance plus 6
Hahaha...not a problem. Rant away!
I haven't seen much of DID so can't comment on Rohan-Raghav.
I also felt the same way regarding Amit and Amardeep. Amit's mega audition on Yoon Shabnami was so much fun and one of my favs. But Amardeep tried so hard to recreate 'Gourav' that Amit kinda got lost. In the 75 dance styles episode, Amit was sooo good with the shuffling and everything , but Amardeep never tried anything much beyond robotics/animation. Even their Bhangra performance was so good.
I feel Amit was versatile enough, but Amardeep just didn't try anything new with him.
My issue this season is that most of the supergurus just wouldn't experiment even though they got so many opportunities and such good dancers.

@Garamkhoon - Flo has definitely improved. From someone who has never done choreographies to matching toe-to-toe with Tushar's footwork, you can't deny her growth. But no argument, we can agree to disagree. I agree about your views on Tushar though. His choreos have been very repetitive. Even the last act was just bits and pieces from their other acts. But he has also experimented in some ways, like with the Ladki badi anjaani act and the Saap-sapera act. I can understand why he's been this way though. He was mostly setting up Flo to catch up and be comfortable with his style.
@ZeyDa - Absolutely. This is what I'm worried about the most. Florina and Sanchit's USP was their uniqueness when they came to auditions. While Sanchit has maintained it, Flo's completely switched styles. Can't blame it on Tushar though. It's not his fault. I mean, who can we think of a better guru for her anyways? They shouldn't have selected her this season if they couldn't find an apt guru. Look at Sanchit, even in SD3 auditions, he received lots of praise, but he wasn't picked. Instead they had Vartika this season so called him back. I really hope Flo finds herself and her style after SD is over. She's just 7, so she still has time to learn and adapt back to her style. Hopefully we can see her carrying both Tushar's and her own style effectively in future 😳

THIS. Amit mahn, he was sooo good in the 75 styles. One of the best among the kids in that episode. He just started dancing this year so Amardeep could have taken him in any direction. But no, he had to recreate his last season vibe And yeah, Amit is probably not gonna learn anything new since he's already become brand ambassador for ADI 🤪
Pls keep up the rants and essays

Flow has improved a lot if we see her past performance and now. Even I want her to do both style after SD and hopefully we get to see amazing dancer in flow but I still want to see her in style in SD before the show ends but I don’t know if we get to see that or not.

Also I watch for one kid and I have ranted/gushed enough on her 😂 also I don't know much about dancing. But like someone said flo might forget freestyle as she's just doing Tushar ka, I hope when she's older she goes back to it or learns multiple style. Whatever makes her happy.

Her latest freestyle video was on Manike Mage Hithe sometime last month, and it was beautiful So yep, I still believe she has it in her. She's a very smooth mover. But I also want her to continue practicing TS style. Maybe someday we can get a dance video with Florina-Tushar-Tejas
I guess there is also the whole pressure around reality shows in general that builds with each passing episode, not only for the gurus, subconsciously also for kids, reality shows are mostly about impressing people whether it’s the judges or the audience and moving forward in the competition rather than expression of self. It’s fascinating to think about the difference between of stage performance I.e - choreography versus freestyle dancing whether in battles or by yourself or with friends, I don’t think one should be seen as lesser than the another. I feel Freestylers are some of the most creative people amongst dancers. Flow free styling videos are whole another vibe, although not sure if it’s technically correct or perfect, it has a lot of heart, hope she continues to freestyle. Chalo, good night guys. 😅😊
