You keep bringing up the same Salman Khan photo into this conversation when my point is regarding your general statement towards me. Please read your comment again. I told you that I’ll take the Salman + Monkey criticism on the chin (meaning I accept that it may be offensive to Salman Khan fans). But you also mentioned that you regularly see me posting images of celebrities, mocking and name-calling them, and that I do so with impunity. Don’t you think that was an unfair statement to make about me when everyone does the same? Yes, you mentioned that I’m not the only one who does that, but when you already know that at some point everyone in this forum has mocked a celebrity, then why even bring that up to me in the first place? Do you understand my point now?

Plastic is a demeaning way to describe a person, no matter how you like to paint it. The tone and context that you use it in also makes a difference. You weren’t criticising her when you made that comment, because the thread was about Salman. Instead, you threw that comment in my face to mock her because you know I like her and most likely you felt the need to avenge Salman‘s honour. Context matters. 🙂 I’m going to say this one more time that I don’t care if you call any celebrity plastic. That’s your business and opinion. But let’s not judge and make a specific statement against me when you have also mocked a celebrity in the past too. That’s all.

Because you felt the warning you received was unmerited. I have seen you name calling Salman explicitly numerous times, and also post (hundreds?) of images mocking him. I felt many of these gifs were more insulting than humorous. I was merely pointing out that technically you have broken the rules multiple times, with impunity. 😊

Yeah let's close this conversation before it spirals. This would be my last statement on this topic as well.

The Afghan Girl: I wonder how she is today. Apparently she was gifted a house by the Ghani govt. But I don't know if she's still in possession of that house or not. Hope she's safe under the Taliban. This article definitely changes the way I viewed that image.

True school story.

One Saturday I couldn’t go to school cuz of fever (or maybe I faked it, I don’t remember). Next day I read in the newspaper that my classmate, in fact the kid used to sit next to me, almost got kidnapped from the school gate that day. Some people dragged him into a car tried to shove his face in and drive away. Luckily, his sister spotted it and started screaming. People heard and tried to stop the car. They threw stones at it and the boy was rescued.

Police arrived and arrested the kidnappers. When I went to school Monday, all my rickshaw mates gleefully narrated the incident and how much fun they had throwing stones at the car.

And I missed all of it.😭

The school security got strict after that. Teachers stood by the gate and never let any kid go out by themselves or unknown adult.

The kid never talked about the incident. We tried, but all in vain.😔
