Star Plus grabs Hulchuk movie blockbuster

Hot on the heels of record TV ratings for movie Main Hoon Naa during the Christmas period, STAR Plus has announced its next movie blockbuster acquisition.

Last year's superhit movie Hulchul will be making its way on India's top channel STAR Plus in the coming weeks. A telecast date and time has yet to be confirmed. The movie was released in December last year and proved to be a box office hit.

Hulchul stars Akshaye Khanna, Kareena Kapoor, Paresh Rawal and Jackie Shroff. The comedy flick is the latest big movie acquired by STAR after the recent screening of Main Hoon Naa, which notched record-breaking ratings in India for a Hindi movie. With ZEE Network and B4U buying films left, right and centre, STAR Plus on the other hand is relying on quality, so, will Hulchul prove another STAR Plus hit? We'll find out in a few weeks.
