src="/hitCount.php?storyId=301523"> Love Story 2050 gives a peek into times 40 years ahead Rowena Baweja, the creative producer and scriptwriter of Love Story 2050 divulges all about robotic pets, stretch fabrics and flying cars that will be seen for the first time in a Hindi film. "The first half is set in 2008 and the latter half in 2050. Harry Baweja, my father , worked out the concept of a futuristic film. It was executed by professionals," she says. Robotic pets
What could be more futuristic than walkie-talkie robotic companions? "Priyanka's (Chopra) closest confidante Boo is a cute pink teddy look-alike to whom she pours her heart, while Harman's (Baweja) companion is called Q.T. , who's more like Man Friday—bringing him his towel and reminding him about his breakfast," Baweja says. Vehicles
Flying cars are no longer a figment of the imagination. Japan already has the prototype of a flying car but since the US has not granted them the permission to fly it in their aerial boundary, the experiment is on hold. "But we certainly have cars flying in the film," she declares. The Look
If the current six-pack fad is anything to go by, people are going to get even fitter in the years to come. "We have opted for a leaner, tanned look for our lead pair. It's all about sharp jaw-lines and chiselled bodylines. Harman has been working hard on his arms and face to achieve the sculpted look," she informs. Clothes
"Body-hugging and contour-revealing"—that's what the future fabric is going to be, according to Rowena. "The fabric of the future couldn't possibly be the natural fabric, so we imported a special stretch material from Milan," she lets on. The colours will be different shades of metallic black, grey and white. Priyanka will be seen mostly in gowns and Harman in form-fitting slacks and jackets. The look has been designed by Thea and Pooja of Dress Circle, they are credited with the look of Shootout At Lokhandwala. Accessories
Boots are going to be the biggest futuristic accessory in the film. "We had to get Harman's boots custom-made from London and even Priyanka's sandals have been imported from UK," she adds. Landscape
Mumbai's skyscrapered skyline of 2050 is the product of VFX by four studios—Prime Focus, India, Veta, New Zealand, Rising Sun, Australia and Frantic Films, Canada, "The skyline has an element of fantasy to it," she adds. The sets have been designed by Omang Kumar.

Language
Barring some youthful slang phrases that Priyanka uses, the lines are going to be pretty much in lingua franca—Hindi peppered with English.
