Haha nai ye indian culture mein bhi bahaut hai, lately i have not seen it but north india mein punjab mein hota hai.

Plus bridal lehenge mein to hota hai north ki as far i know, its considered to be auspicious i think or somewhat related to some puja. I think deepika padukone ki wedding mein bhi tha jo usne ranveer side se sindhi wedding ki thi.

Haan daily life style mein pehenna is tough to wear, plus she is so young she could have chosen soemthing else. I would only use it if its necessary in some ritual 😆

Considering you are a newly wed bahu she should have worn some better suit then also. But then it was just a scene so i didnt say anything here. Danish is wearing a proper black coat pant but she was so filled up with jewellery but suit bekar tha wo bhi for the function.
