I have been thinking that she is constantly accused of money grabbing, and not suffering and so on, but no-one seems to realise how little she has of anything! She seems to be given new clothes and gets some money surely to take the bus, but unlike the rest of both families she still has no phone, (Anu destroyed the one Dev tried to give her and no-one tried since), no watch, (Adi lent her one but seems to have taken it back), and not even a bicycle which she did have in PD, and she cannot drive and has no car either! She just has herself, and her textbooks - yet no-one can see this simplicity when they all have everything they want or need. Beggars belief really that they can look down on someone who essentially has nothing.

I did like the way she subtly blamed Dev for the forced marriages in PD, we know that he was the cause all along but it was nice to hear it said.
