I mean someone eyeing Pallavi like that added to the trigger of someone insulting her (though again she didn't come across as a maid)? While Pallavi was shocked at the assumption, she didn't react much there as I don't think she took it as an insult. I love that she's very comfortable in her own self and literally won't give a sh*t to what anyone says.

IMO. It was a bit of everything. Her being called a maid, the guy assuming someone like her could be bought and hired in order to keep pretty staff in the home. The business guy assuming Raghav does not provide for his wife (thinking back this is a huge trigger).

No guy likes to hear that about his wife or about their relationship. I get why it’s triggering. The implication and tone used is insulting as well.

Businessman was def OTT for dramas sake. My family back home has a bunch of staff and the women (Bc they live more traditionally) of the home still bring some of the food for the guests, and they are the ones who ask about chai or coffee etc. So why the guy would just automatically assume she’s staff lol. Just for the plot.

Baat to sahi hai. Ek dusra mu dhund ke lao .I dont care at this point . Jab tak un dono ki ek do baar episode mein band nahi bajti Pallu ya Amma ke hatho, episode pura nahi hota mere liye..

First of all, I don't understand why a person would wear Saree at home. Like what the hell? Most of us roam around in our comfy clothes. Pallavi wears Saaree right from the beginning, that's not a problem but she wears nightgowns too na? I mean, most of us don't change until we step out side. I walk out with in tees, shorts or three fourths and sometimes in my wrinkled pyjamas. One or two crack heads ask "what are you wearing?" Who cares about crack heads? Humme sane people se matlab hai.

Even when guests prop up, we don't really go to the dressing table to pull out our jewellery and make up stuff. Kam se Kam we comb our hair (I don't do that either). That's it! Big deal!

They came to their house. House bro. Who cares about what they wear?

I agree. Tbh. Simple is in fashion right now anyway. The silk sarees of the 90s are back. The understated looks are much more elegant imo than the ones that are too bedazzled - esp for everyday wear. There’s a time and place for bedazzlement - everyday life is not one of them.

ITV culture just goes against what we normal people think lol. They associate heavy jewelry, fancy sarees for everyday wear as looking rich. Like no, they just look overdressed. The sarees Pallavi wears are still not as gaudy as I’ve seen others wear. And I love her floral ones. But a lot of the ones she wears daily, I’d wear to a dinner party lol.

I love her ombré and silk ones the best from her simple ones. I don’t care for the side flicks but she’s gorgeous no matter what they do to her hair. She suited both looks IMO, but the silk ones look more normal as everyday wear even for someone who is rich. ITV just doesn’t see it that way.

Ok, I didn't mind that one though, usse bure bhi hai kuch saares. Agree on the simple being in. Actually it was always in but abhi because of everything being so OTT, few people (old school) appreciate the simplicity more.

I love all her simple sarees a lot. Like that's what you'd wear on daily basis. The heavy ones can make you feel so hot specially in a humid climate like ours.

Your point is totally right, this comes from the over the top dressing usually done in other shows that one may consider her simple look to be under dressed. But MHRW has always been different and I'm glad she's back to wearing her simple sarees. I can't wait to see her in the yellow wedding sari. I love yellow and I love her more in yellow.

The hair is actually different than her normal style and that's why I liked tbe change. Another one I loved was her hair when they confessed. The flicks made her look so very cuteeee....but of course shivi is very beautiful
