Pallavi welcomed them as the Owner, malkin of the house. The fact that the clients never recieved such a welcome was because they were welcomed by the staff and not the owner. In this situation, Pallavi isn't wearing old sarees because she wants to wear it, she is wearing them to prove a point to Raghav. The entire situation caught both off guard. Pallavi was shocked too when he called her maid. When he told Raghav that he is treating Pallavi as his servant, it struck him bad. The insults were directed to Raghav and not Pallavi, being a maid is not an insult.

Regarding job too, he is opposing because Pallavi is doing it to prove her point, not because she wants to do it out of passion.

The businessmen were OTT. A simple saree does not mean she’s a maid etc.

Being a maid is not an insult - you’re right and I wasn’t trying to imply that. And yeah they weren’t directed to Pallavi but they were about her nonetheless. She doesn’t feel bad about it too much Bc she doesn’t mind being called a maid - these things don’t bother her. She’s strong enough to disregard peoples opinions and as she said herself she’s always been middle class. Raghav is not built that way. For someone who worked hard to get out of poverty and actually made it out, it is insulting for someone to call his wife a maid in their own home.

It’s because it’s the lady of the house being assumed as the house staff - that is the insult. Especially in those circles. There’s a hierarchy in a home like that - house staff are below the owners in this hierarchy. It’s part of their employer-employee relationship. So her being looked at as not in a position of authority, that this is not her home - that’s the insult.

Im sure Raghav will jump in and instead of throwing SunKee out, he will blame/taunt Pallavi.. Wese bhi he does nothing other than grabbing his shirt collar and screaming " Chhodega nahi mein tereko" and then inevitably the ladies will pull him away.

Vaish, Raghav only aces the art of shouting and drinking.

Was a part of the anger because she was called beautiful??? I tried so see when his reaction took place but couldn't understand.

I mean someone eyeing Pallavi like that added to the trigger of someone insulting her (though again she didn't come across as a maid)? While Pallavi was shocked at the assumption, she didn't react much there as I don't think she took it as an insult. I love that she's very comfortable in her own self and literally won't give a sh*t to what anyone says.

Upar se serving tea to guests or welcoming them into your home doesn't make anyone a servant. Stupid OTT dialogues to the clients for the sake on unnecessary drama *smh*

Abhi tak Pallavi jo Sunny ko sunaati aayi hai, woh sab toh ek jhatke mein disprove ho gaya. I'd rather she just sit back and let stuff play out now. Kiss mooh se Sunny ka mooh band karaye woh?

I'm glad she's back to her simple look. Kitni pyari lagti hai. Her simplicity is her charm - bas yeh baat palle nai padti sabke.... Aaj kal it's all about show off and simple clothes are looked down upon. I even love her side flicks that are curled. Its so refreshing.

And the pearls of praise she will barsao on sunkee will add sone pe suhaga.

the hot pink one she wore when aayi was in the hospital.

I hate those two sarees as well 😂.

I agree. Tbh. Simple is in fashion right now anyway. The silk sarees of the 90s are back. The understated looks are much more elegant imo than the ones that are too bedazzled - esp for everyday wear. There’s a time and place for bedazzlement - everyday life is not one of them.

ITV culture just goes against what we normal people think lol. They associate heavy jewelry, fancy sarees for everyday wear as looking rich. Like no, they just look overdressed. The sarees Pallavi wears are still not as gaudy as I’ve seen others wear. And I love her floral ones. But a lot of the ones she wears daily, I’d wear to a dinner party lol.

I love her ombré and silk ones the best from her simple ones. I don’t care for the side flicks but she’s gorgeous no matter what they do to her hair. She suited both looks IMO, but the silk ones look more normal as everyday wear even for someone who is rich. ITV just doesn’t see it that way.
