Did Anuj lose the fist fight on purpose?

Most of you would've seen the SBS segment where they said that Anuj lost the fist fight with Vanraj. But after watching today's episode, I feel that he might have lost it on purpose:

1) Although Kavya and Anupama lied that Vanraj and P1 were busy at the cafe, our smart Anuj very well knew that they didn't come because of their ego issues / issues with Anuj. That was evident in the way he called Vanraj and insisted that he and P1 come.

In fact, Vanraj was outright rude during that call - even in the way he said they were busy. Any other businessman who had an inflated ego would've cut all contact with Vanraj and his wife right then, but Anuj didn't do it.

2) Anuj has previously regretted getting into a street fight in the past where he had to stay for 10 days at a hospital - those 10 days could've changed his life had he used those to confess his feelings to Anupama.

He has already paid a big price for his temper in the past and he did not want to do it again. He let Vanraj's ego win because he knew that Vanraj cannot take it if he lost that fist fight and the repercussions would be on Anupama.

So, he might've lost that fight to satisfy Vanraj's ego and make Anupama's life easier.

In the end, Anuj might lose these battles but we know he's going to win the war that matters! :D

Waiting to see Vanraj's face on that day...

It's too early to say anything now,😆

but if he really did, there could be only two reasons.

First he Didn't want to insult the guests by defeating him.

and another he did for Anupama. He doesn't want to induce Anupama in any trouble.

If anuj lost the fight on purpose for the reason you pointed out, then the man is much smarter and wise than we know. I hope that's the reason.

Anuj is a wise guy, he knows these petty battles don't matter to him in life but for Vanraj everything is about ego, superiority and putting others down, he thrives on trivial cheap digs.

Anuj must have sensed the tension on Anu's face so he called the cheapster Vanraj and his phattu son to avoid any issues that Anu might have to face at home...And losing the fight was definitely a very clever and wise move.

He'll inflate Vanraj's ego by making his loss look real but Vanraj will never know what Anuj has won instead.

The whole tashan between Vanraj and Anuj will prob give Anu the courage to say a firm yes to the Mumbai trip cause if her ex husband can stoop so low to prove his power she has no reason to have any regard for him.

He just lost the game to boast V ego because just after that he dropped the bomb for V that he and Anu will be going to Mumbai. 😆

So that V will not burst like a volcano and Anuj has already lost his lady love 26 years ago to Vanraj but this time life has given him another chance, so I believe he is talking very small and careful steps.

Sab kuch soch samajh ke bz he said it earlier to GK ki Anu pe aanch ni aani chahiye.

So this is all I have to say. This lover boy is very bhola but also very careful and intelligent.

I agree. He can do anything to keep Anupama out of the line of fire in that madhouse.

Also, he might have noticed that Anupama was not comfortable with this fist fight and he probably ended that fight then and there by losing!

Totally true! Anuj knows better than to indulge in petty battles with Vanraj and P1.

Nowadays, I feel even Kavya is more sensible than Vanraj and P1 and that says something!

Just like kinjal once said, anuj is too classy to get involved in such petty ego clashes.

He doesn't want to create scene and give V any chance to give any kind of trouble to anupama. Thats why he did that.

I agree with most of what you said :D But our Anuj is not bhola!! He doesn't get flattered by Kavya's non-stop praises, he cannot be manipulated nor bullied. He understands every single member of the Shah family in just 2 meetings.

We will get to see more shades of Anuj very soon and I am excited 😆

Most excited to see romantic anuj making anupama realize what true love is all about and also shrewd businessman anuj when he will handle V in his own way like he said in yesterday's episode
