Since we're not gonna get one, i decided to create my own. So here i come, post and go. Hope you all like it. And i really hope that we all can be on the same page someday, understanding both the characters equally because the writer's are doing them dirty with their lack of character built up and it's back story.
OS : A HEARTFELT CONVERSATION
Raghav found it difficult to sleep as he tossed and turned on his bed. Her absence for a mere time had been killing him from the inside as his hands rub gently on her side of the bed. They had a bad fight this afternoon after she announced of never using anything that came out of his money and he lost his temper. Some harsh words were spoken and he hated every bit of it. He hated how the beast in him rose all of a sudden s he clutched her arm in his strong physical strength. The way she whimpered and asked him to leave her because he was hurting her. He can never hurt her, why can't she understand that. It was this beast and anger inside of him that scared him at times, the side of his that he wanted to protect her from fearing that she might leave him someday for that.
After their fight, he hadn't seen her the entire day. She avoided him stating that she needed to clear off her mind and hence currently was residing in his Amma's room rather than being here. He doesn't blame her for that. At times even he scared himself. A sigh escaped his lips as he realised that his sleep was long gone now, so he got up ready to reunite with his best friend aka the alchohol. He opened the bottle only to close it again without dropping the liquid into the gladd. Not tonight, he thought as the flashes of the previous night wandered his mind. The way he behaved after being drunk with her thinking she went to the police according to her morals but she proved him wrong again.
This was a serious situation hence alchohol wasn't a solution anymore. He needed to clear his mind off in order to think fresh, anything to keep them on the same page. Turning off the room lights he made his way to the terrace. A place he never had a thought to visit before but the only place now that felt peaceful to him.
Pallavi sat on the terrace wall dangling her feet down looking at the peaceful Hyderabad right in front of her. Only if her mind could achieve that momentum. She was exhausted after their fight, frustrated at herself. Why was it so hard for her to explain to him that she doesn't wanna change him. Rather she wants to bring out the old, carefree, happy and somewhat honest Raghav that was hidden somewhere within the facade of The Raghav Rao.
She wanted to show him the real Raghav, the Raghav who used to play around his siblings, was happy with the small he had and who respected his parents morals. The Raghav that was manhandled and buried by the injustice of the society and a false trust over an evil man, a decade ago.
Her tensed shoulders calmed as soon as she felt him behind her. Their ragged breathing the only voice between them as he sat beside her in silence. Nobody spoke for a while until she decided to start the conversation.
"Neend nahin aa rahi thi? " She asked him.
" Tum jo nahin tha. " Raghav replied surprised at his own answer. How is it that she always bring out this vulnerable yet true side of him.
"Mujhe bhi" She replied still looking ahead.
" Tum mujhe kyun badalna chahta hai Pallavi? " Raghav asked looking at her.
" Kisne kaha ki main tumhe badalna chahti hoon. Main bass tumhaare andar ke asli Raghav ko bahar laana chahti hoon. Uske family ke paas. Uski Amma ke paas. " She replied with a slight smile. A smile that she truly felt after a long day.
" Yeh tumhara galatafahami hai Pallavi. Aisa koi Raghav nahin hai. Jo hai woh Raghav Rao yeh hai. Aur tumko mereko aise hi accept krna hoga. " and the facade was back, Pallavi thought.
"Accept toh tumhe tumhaari har achchai aur burai ke saath maine ussi din karliya tha jis din mujhe tumse pyaar ho gaya tha. Jaise tumne mujhe mere pariwaar, mere past, meri har ek responsibility ke saath accept kiya. Yeh toh bss ussi pyaar se tumhara nazariya badalne ki ek koshish hai. " Pallavi looked at him this time.
"Lekin yeh mera business hai Pallavi aur isse kaise chalana hai yeh main jaanta hai. Tum jaanta nahin hai ki duniya sirf paise se chalta hai. Yeh pyaar vyaar se kisika pet nahin bharta hai. Jab koi bhookha marta hai tab yeh pyaar uska aansu pochne nahin aata hai. Main yeh sab dekha hai isliye samajhta hai. Main jaanta hai kaisa mehsus hota hai jab tumhara Amma aur Nana logon ke saamne kuch paisa ke liye gidgidata hai. Apna izzat, apna self respect tak girwi rakh deta hai. " Raghav spoke with tears in his eyes. Nobody in this world can ever understand what he went through. The pain he felt watching his parents being insulted, his siblings crying of hunger and deprived of the basic necessities.
Only he knows how hard it was to watch his family go through that hard phase of life.
A long pause was felt between them before Pallavi turned her face back to the view.
" Aur tumhe kaise pata ki mujhe yeh sab nhin samajh ayega? " She asked with a straight face.
" Pallavi tum kaise samjhega-" Raghav scoffed ready to reply back but interrupted by her.
" Tum shayad bhool rahe ho Raghav ki main ek anath thi. Woh anath jisne apne 10 saal ke bhai ki godi main aankh kholi thi. Baba toh bs ek normal job karte the jisse ghar jaise taise chalta tha isliye zyada savings bhi nahin thi. Jab Aai Baba guzar gaye tab Dada ke paas itne paise nhin the ki woh 3 mahine se zyada hamara guzara kar sake. Upar se unhe ek paida hui bachchi bhi palni thi uss umar main jisme woh khud ek bachche the" She gave a sad smile finally looking back at him, that's when Raghav saw it, all that pain in her eyes. A story that was never told, hence nobody ever understood her.
"Kiraye ka ghar tha isliye wahan se bhi nikaal diya. Jagah jagah kaam karke dada ne mujhe bada kiya. Kabhi kirane ki dukaan main samaan uthaya toh kabhi kisi mechanic ke saath kaam kara taki hume padha sakein. Bade hoke akela rehne ke kaabil bana sake. Roz dekhti thi apne bhai ko ghiste hue, mehnat karte hue isliye ek din mujhse raha nahin gaya. Lekin ek 13 saal ki ladki ko kaun naukri deta. Isliye maine bhi school ke baad ek choti si dukaan main waitress ki job karli. Wahan ki lady kaafi achchi thi, bahut support krti thi mujhe. Aur phir raatko bachchon ke tuitions liye. Lekin kya hai na Raghav ki hamare paas jitna tha utna kaafi tha kyunki din ke akhir main dada aur main saath the. Khush the. " She held his hand.
" Raghav bhale hi hamari zindagi aur uski takleefe alag thi jiski wajah se cheezo ko dekhne ka hamara nazariya bhi alag hai lekin main bass itna samjhana chahti hoon ki ab woh sab takleefe jaa chuki hai. Isliye ab tumhe ya mujhe past main atke rehne ki zaroorat nahin hai. Ab tumhaare paas woh sab kuch hai jo tumse chhinn gaya tha. Tumhara pariwaar hai aur tumhara yeh paisa bhi toh hai. Jitna hai kaafi hai. " She scooted closer to him as he snuggled into her.
"Main nahin jaanta tha Pallavi ke tum- Pallavi main iss duniya ka woh roop dekha hai jisse main apna family ko, tumko bachana chahta hai. Mera soch, mera irada galat nahin hai lekin yeh duniya hamesha sachchai se nahin chalta hai. Pallavi main tumko hurt nahin karta chahta hai kyunki jab tum hirt hota hai toh aisa lagta hai ki main saans nhin le paa raha hai. Tumhara aankh ka ek bhi aansun mereko chubhta hai. " He intevined their fingers.
" Raghav mere liye bhi sirf tum mayne rakhte ho. Darti hoon main ki kahin tumhe kho na doon. Agar kabhi tumhe iss sab ki wajah se kuch ho gaya toh main toh jeete ji mar jaungi. Main hamara aane wala kal jeena chahti hoon, har ghadi har pal uske na hone ke darr main nhin jeena chahti hoon. Amma aur mujhe tumhaari bahut zaroorat hai Raghav. Main bass chahti hoon ki hamara aaj sawarte sawarte kahin hamara aane wala kal na bikhar jaye. Kyunki yeh aaj ka waqt jo hai na bass yahi hai hamare paas. Aaj hamare paas sab hai lekin agar kalko kisi galti ki wajah se yeh chhinn gaya toh takleef zyada hogi. " Pallavi replied hugging him.
" Pallavi main bhi aaj main hi rehna chahta hai tumhaare saath. " Raghav smiled.
" Hume bass ek dusre ko samajhna hai Raghav kyunki yeh Raghav aur Pallavi ke beech hi ladai nahin hai. Yeh Raghav aur Pallavi ke saath ki ladai hai. " Pallavi looked at him.
" Raghav ko uska Pallavi se koi alag nahin kar sakta hai. Woh khud bhi nhi. " Raghav held her by her chin as he gently kissed her forehead.
They didn't what the future held for them anymore cause until they were together, understanding each other and their different layers. It was all gonna be fine.
Let's love them together and let them fight for each other.
