Karan Johar’s lockdown started with some fun and light-hearted updates about life at home with his mother, Hiroo Johar and children, Yash and Roohi. The filmmaker and producer took a break from social media for a few months and was back to promote his latest film, Shershaah. Gradually heading back to normal life, Karan has started to share some updates about his personal life on social media yet again.
Posting a video of his mother today, Karan revealed that she underwent two major surgeries in eight months and is now fit and fine to head back home where her grandchildren are waiting for her with cake. He wrote, “My Mother … My super hero! She has had two massive surgeries in the lockdown…. In the past 8 months… Her Spinal Fusion Surgery ( the brilliance of DR BHOJRAJ) and her right knee replacement ( the Genius of DR MANIAR ) She endured both surgeries with her indomitable spirit and a sense of humour…. She is nearly 79 but has the spirit and zest for life as a millennial does! I am so so proud of her …. I love you so much Mama! Your babies are waiting at home with a cake and a song!”
