The actor now has to hide his love tattoo while shooting for films.

It was a bold statement of his love for Kareena Kapoor when Saif Ali Khan got a prominent tattoo of Kareena's name on his forearm. But he might not have anticipated back then that it would affect his work.

Being an actor Saif has to face the camera for films quite often. And he cannot wear full-sleeve outfits all the time to keep the tattoo hidden.

An industry insider says Saif often gets the tattoo concealed with layers of make-up while shooting his films. And sometimes shots have to be retaken because a part of the tattoo becomes visible in the scene.

Take, for instance, the song "Dil Haara" in this Friday's release Tashan . While shooting the song, choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant reportedly had to alter Saif's dance steps in such a way that the tattoo wasn't visible to the camera.

Not just this, even director Kunal Kohli had to shoot Saif's scenes in Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic in such a way that the tattoo did not show. The film has Saif pairing with Rani Mukherjee .

Since the tattoo is indelible, the directors have no option but to grin and bear it.
