After reading through a few replies on this forum, it feels people have really got impressed with the fact that this isn’t a typical ITV show with an abuser ML, docile or outspoken FL who is out and out too beautiful and sexy, permanent vamps, extra marital affairs, etc.

Well I do totally agree on this but what I am unable to fathom with the fact that people aren’t able to digest that this show also has a different story format. Different format in terms of fast screenplay just like a meaningful n crisp web series (with some editing glitches), no MU b/w leads and no typical vamps. Talking about it point by point, I feel a fast paced screenplay is not something that’s bothersome for me, except the poor editing skills and incomplete scenes occasionally. Nor is the clear identification of vamps in the show. But what’s bothersome for this show is the story build up. Although expressed many a times by forum members, I believe a quick communication and clarification of MU, especially b/w leads isn’t going to prove beneficial for the show and it’s ratings. It’s important that Leads have some kind of MU for the story to progress. Ofc it shouldn’t stretch like a typical ITV soap opera but still all MU being cleared instantly makes you feel disinterested in watching the show considering and hoping the show is going to last for a long time and gain good viewership on TV and online. I don’t mind them using the age-old and no logic concepts like prenup provided they fully justify its use in shaping Ram and Priya’s bond.

Coming to the episode today, I believe, if utilised properly, the show can now build a good story. Why because both Ram and Priya have some insights to each other’s life. Plus, we know that come what may, Ram isn’t a typical ITV ML who will get abusive, arrogant, spineless and controlling on the FL after marriage. He has shown enough humility and respect for women so far, unless makers decide to butcher his character. He’s caring and understanding. Even though Priya is totally of opposite nature from him yet he now understands that there’s a reason for her behaviour. Plus he respects the fact that she agreed to marry him for her family’s sake just like he did. The only issue is he might get emotionally carried away. Now that prenup is in picture and that idiotic Mahender Sood has spiced up the loan drama, both of Ram’s family and friends, excluding Brinda, are in favour of Ram signing this prenup.

As far as Priya is concerned, she’s slowly observing Ram’s respectful and kind nature. She will obviously take more time to understand him considering she carries a reserved personality due to her past experiences. But somehow the makers have ensured now that Priya knows about Ram’s humility, especially from today’s episode where he convinced Priya’s mom about peacefully dealing with their marriage in future and making him understand Priya’s past, life struggles and broken heart resulting in her rude behaviour.

What’s interesting to see now is how this prenup is going to change their lives after marriage. Ram, in precap, has promised and assured his mom that he won’t change after marriage come what may. will he continue to remain quiet in the name of his “so-called” family above Priya and her morals? He also won’t forget Vedu so easily. How will he slowly value Priya more than Vedu? Plus his friends too are against the concept of Priya being the right match for him. How and when will they understand that Priya is the one, with the traits she has, who is actually going to secure their loveable friend?

The main issue that most people had with this show was not exactly the fast pace but the sloppy editing, too much crowd at once, and under-developed characters and their motivations. The seamless-ness was missing in the beginning of the drama. Now, since last week , things have improved a lot on these fronts IMO...and with today's epi, I feel the show has reached the perfect pace.

About the clarification of MUs, I think what everyone wants is the perfect balance.. it should depend on the situation.. if something can be cleared then and there, then it should be, rather than dragging it unnecessarily. What I mean is that things should flow organically.. the MUs, and then clearing of those MUs, should feel natural. And I feel that the show has been doing an amazing job in that respect !! Hats off to the writers for that. 👏

Agree with you that after today's epi, the makers have set up a good base on which they can build a nice story.. it has the proper amount of everything now. I really loved today's epi on all fronts!! A truly amazing and interesting episode today !!

Yes it will be very interesting to see how R&P's life shape after this prenup and marriage. Looking forward to their journey!!

Completely agree 👏

Though I got really getting frustrated by Mahendar's nonsense today, a few scenes won my heart today -

1. Priya's mom and Ram's coffee scene. Ram Kapoor sabko apna bana leta hai ❤️

2. Ram fighting against his family's views on prenup

3. Ram and Vrinda's scene

Makers really need to tone down Mahendar's presence. It's getting irritating 😡

I like the pace. Better not drag a show for 4 yrs with 3 generation leap and bakwas story ,rather give us limited epi with crisp story and happy ending, retaining character traits in show. But yeah like others said

Rams jobless friends need to go especially the tall dude who always have that uneasy look. How in the world he knew priya said ram will chukao her loan, like he's a detective or what? The lady and chasmish dude is ok.

Similarly pri ghar ka crowd should lessen. Her step mom and bro contribute nothing other than adding in list of enemies. Can her dad just die? Some sisters need to go. I am glad that aren't showing maitrayi and her husband.

Also scenes should have a continuity or explain audience the context. Like today the friend of ram just entered with "priya ne loan liya hai and tu chukayega". How he know that audience aren't told.

For now I am intrigued about rams mom. She seems nice but she's not. Also post marriage what drama they will show- the leads will bond, maybe some drama on middle class upper class. What's the main drama if we leave vedu and pri's Dad out of picture.

Totally agree with this. I keep forgetting characters and character names 😆 As if Priya's sisters were not enough, they have her step mom and step brother 😅

Ram's friends are getting on my nerves- I know they are looking out for him, but they are a bunch of judgemental idiots That Twinkles husband ( forgot his name 🤣) is such an unnecessary character. Why do his friends keep hanging around him at all times as if it is a college gang 😆 I know people can can have close friends- but people in their 30s genrally don't continuously hang around friends.

Another interesting thing is that all these couples in their 30s don't have a single kid amongst them? Seems so improbable. If they do have kids they wouldn't have so much time to pass 😅

Ram's mom and Priya's dad are unique peices. Priya's dad wants to stop the marriage but still get his daughters married Confused soul hai.

I kind of get where Ram's mom is coming from- she is trying to protect herself and the kids as Ram probably has the lion's share of the business and alimony might take out a lot of their resources. I think she would rather this alliance breaks now that Shivina is not pregnant. I still don't think her concern for Ram is genuine.

I wonder if Ram feels that at some level. Today when he put Meera's hand on his head- he seemed like a little boy yearning for a mother's caress. 😐

I am not bothered abt the pace of the story telling. This is 100% better than dragging. However sometimes I cant understand some scenes, must be poor editing.. That's the issue.

I like it when mus are resolved quickly! Here Priyas mom.seems to be beating around the bush and talking in circles. She cud hv clarified the dynamics abt her broken marriage and also abt Priyas broken marriage.
