hi everyoneee - haven't visited this AT in a while :/ I couldn't keep up with everything 😭
Just wanted to say I definitely hope the show doesn't make it out to be that Raghav's entire personality/identity has to change. The dialogues they wrote implied thats what they think - but really, one bad thing doesn't and shouldn't erase or "put into question" all the good he's done and continues to do.
I'm ok with R going legit for the sake of his family's future but I hope they don't think he has to be entirely redeemed - as if he hasn't done good things before. Amma was spot on with what she said to defend him.
I totally agree and I think this is what many people were turned off by. It could be poor wording or it could be done deliberately so that Pallavi is led slowly to realize that it's not always black or white. Also, for Raghav to realize that his good deeds are indeed of value and that they don't get erased just because he needs to fix his illegal ways permanently.
I just want to see this being balanced.
Also, keep in mind many people are so tired of seeing leads on ITV whose personalities change completely to the point that they can't relate to them. They are worried this might happen here, hence the outcry. I think the writers have given us enough hints that this won't happen, especially through Ayi's dialogues about perspective and Amma's dialogues about intent vs. actions.
The theme of this track is all about that isn't it: different perspectives and reacting according to them.
