His dialogues that it's the first time that something like this happened, did he forget sais accident?

The worst dialogue and the one that should ring alarm bell for sai is virat saying ' why did u make me do this sai'. Typical question from abusers, they tactically put the blame for all that has happened on the victim. Virat asked sai not to go to college, she disobeyed he got angry.Virat problem is that he is not understanding that there was no need for anger or anger of that measure , that he had issues controlling his anger..But instead put the blame on sai, its because of your attitude I got angry so you have to bear the consequences.

If they are not an ITV couple , it's high time they separated.

For me the worst part was his saying that she can’t do anything but give him empty threats, which we sadly know is the truth. I was thinking why didn’t she take this as a challenge?

Yes he has been a part of the audience when Devi was kept locked in the room...If Virat is to be held responsible for Devi...Samrat was the eldest...he should also be blamed for being a mute spectator and never trying to know why/what happened..

Oh I heard this so many times In the support group I was a part of...some movies and ITV along with. Trash novels encouraged this .

Sometimes it would make me sad sometimes angry

Sai is just going to return to her abuser husband despite having strong support systems like Samrat, Pulkit, DIG Sir, the law, her education, scholarship, dormitory facilities on her side, which is why it’s becoming difficult for me to empathise with her. Not sure if she even recognises what she is facing is domestic violence. These topics are trivialised in the show and they only add these *big words* for DRAAAMAAAA.

It doesn't even seem sai sees or knows that some of these antics of virat are actually domestic abuse. Even the police officer husband himself doesn't seem to understand some of the things he does are domestic abuse.

Regardless of whether virat or the family feel sai does what she wants, argues or causes unrest in family peace etc, what sai does isn't problematic or harmful to others. What they do to her is straight up abuse and humiliation. It's vile! Virat's way of dealing with sai is atrocious. Nothing sai says or does even comes 5% close to what they do to her. Many couples have arguments, but no sane and sensible man who respects women locks his wife up in the bedroom when she refuses to listen to him. The only men who use such force and measures against their wives are controlling and abusive husbands.

How was that domestic violence? Domestic Violence is a crime, If anything he was a pathetic brother, Samrat should have tried to find out and he is responsible for Devi’s condition too but this is not domestic violence

I have witnessed it so many times around me, women are conditioned to think this way, there’s centuries of brainwashing behind this and it sucks even more that with this, the target of brainwashing are young girls and educated/strong women

It was laid in clear terms to both of them today that’s why it is important to take this issue to conclusion, they can’t just say it and let it slide

Absolutely. The only problem I see with her is not taking a stand for herself, she is known for it but last time when she was trying to leave, she got a monologue wondering why Virat is not trying to stop her from leaving

And sai will never report virat's behaviour because of his previous ehsaans on her it seems And virat won't stop with his behaviour of man-handling and abusive tactics to control sai or use his brain to realise how affected sai is with pakhi's constant presence and interference in their life and clarify things to sai to remove her doubts that virat still loves pakhi. Instead virat will not only continue with this abusive behaviour, but now he's also constantly siding with pakhi even more than ever to hurt sai. It's disgusting!
