Vidrohi, as I said, the promo was underwhelming and didnt really impress me either. The story firstly seems like a bummer. I saw it coming but basically a love triangle set earlier in history against the background of british politics. Lost interest when I realized this. Sharad and the new zimmadari will fall in love while first wife will become a villain maybe and even eventually try and use the British to her favour?

The feels of the promo was also so off. The dark lighting. The poster. The costumes - they may be authentic, but how do I put it? It looks 'put on' rather than umm, 'natural' I suppose. And agree with D, the FL didnt seem to have the fire the character needed. Moreover, the grand feels expected of a historical show was missing.

Soooo that is what I think. Twitter thinks this is a historical Ghum, Imlie rehash and somewhat ChandraNandani like too 😆. But perhaps the actual show will be better than promos? The team may pick up feeback too. Fingers crossed for Sharad. Ohhh and just putting it here again, I like the limited BTS of Sharad's looks that came our earlier better than what was in the promo.

Also where is Arshi? I miss her.

Cannot wait for Monday when Simran Di comes and fatttu ki phat jayegi I think that’s when the makers will start his “redemption” track. To be honest there is no redemption for him at all in my eyes but it can be done if they do it really well. But because it’s ITV I have high doubts. I think Fattu will start his comparisons between J and T. And slowly all the truths of J will start coming out. But like you I really really hope Tejo is like to Fattu aap ka redemption gaya tel lene 😆 and is like ciaoooo.

Maachi is almost like the Rakhi Dave of this show. Thaali ka baaingan lol. But for the most part, she is right and me likes Jamean bearing the brunt of her liners. Burnnnn 🔥

Yeaah. Simran Di's return is the beginning of the end for Jassu and of redeemed Fatejo 2.0 . Its all gonna happen, just like you said. Just like Tejo said too during the confrontation about him realizing and regretting when its too late.. But yes, one, I dont think this is redeemable. Two, ITV will never be able to do justice to anything that could be called a redemption attempt for cheating. Temporarily and on the surface, the moments and chemistry will look great. But in the bigger picture, Fatejo will be a hollow, weak relationship. At least to me.

so I read this and saw your post about first wife playing a possible negative lead. DEFO lostwa and tamrind feels 😆 like Nina said they need a triangle with everything. To be honest the only historical I watched was Jhansi ki Rani on Zee Kritika was AMAZING. And it stuck to the facts. I don’t know the facts of this historical so maybe that’s why I’m like I don’t get it - if this is based on a true story.

ALSO 💯💯 to what you said about the trailer. The lighting was AWFUL too dark I couldn’t even tell when Sharad came actually had to rewind lol. It was underwhelming to say. But to give it the benefit of doubt the earlier episodes were canned and I think they shot this promo quick time. So that’s why it might be the way it is? Also going back to what I mentioned earlier does anyone of this is based on a true story?

Agreed with you even if they do “redeem” him it won’t be the same because the redemption track will be awful I can tell. I can see this being taken to the point where JasFa are about to get married. They will drag this track because it’s working for them. Eurgh really hope they don’t. Cant stand this stupid track. Though I can see jasmine marrying Amrik to get back at Fateh and Tejo 🤔

This is all about Jasmine it’s not about Fateh at all. She’s teaching Jasmine a lesson. At this moment in time she’s numbed that part of her heart that loved Fateh. She doesn’t feel or shoukd I say want to feel anything. As quickly as you fall in love it’s harder to fall out of it.

Yesss...this is big sis teaching her younger sis a lesson. I found it very telling that Tejo was talking about how Jasmin has a history of trying to steal everything that Tejo has, from childhood. This isn't about Fateh, and tbh Tejo was even prepared to let Jasso have Fateh. It was the drama over the room that tipped Tejo over the edge, and ruined any chance Jasmin has of winning this round 🤣 isse kehte hain apne hi pair pe khulaadi marna 😆 oversmart banne chali thi Jasmin the maha bewakoof 😆
