I just have one Q..were these apps famous? as in just curios why were people not talking about all this before the arrest? or was he not making it official that he is doing all this? this was being done secretly / undercover..? a bit confused

Sunny Leone can't be arrested in India for her p0rn business cuz she is a Canadian/US citizen and her business jurisdiction is Canada and US, not India. Simple as that. India's laws don't apply to businesses that are incorporated in Canada or the US.

But I do think that the way Sunny Leone was able to leverage her p0rnstar status to become a celebrity in India says something about the hypocrisy and double standards there. After all, being a p0rn star of Indian origin was her sole claim to fame when she entered Big Boss. The fact that she went on to establish a pretty good career in India as a movie actress and item song numbers, thanks to her p0rn career in Canada, does send a paradoxical message in a country where p0rn is illegal.

Raj Kundra is UK citizen too. His apps operate from the UK. It’s only shot in India. How is it deferent from Sunny Leone selling her website in India?

It looks like similar discussions: people asked what is wrong taking weed as it is common in other countries...is it a big deal

but yes in a country where it is illegal is a big deal.. similar way p*rn is illegal in India so what raj did is illegal in India...

And I think not only producing films raj is arrested for forcing people to do the films (if I am not wrong), exploiting needy women.

Coming sunny, she acted in erotic movies in India but not in p*rn so she is not arrested. (Again my guess)

That type of stuff is not illegal in Canada.
