Not weird Vaish - lazy writing. Pallavi knows that RR evades customs because he himself disclosed this during Ved confrontation during the Lion track. The line which Raghav drew as unacceptable was dealing in drugs. So Pallavi knew about RR evading customs. But now to build her trust on him they inserted this dialogue that Pallavi supposedly told RR to stop this and Raghav promised to do so. She thinks he is following the promise he gave her.

I see.. that's why I was like wait! When did she say that? I wish they had stopped emphasising so much on how much she trusts him... mera ghamandi Rao kuch galat kar hi sakta.. sounds like blind trust which is never good...

I love it when Sai speaks Telugu in between - don't know how much is his addition and how much is screenplay but it lends such an authentic feel to the scene. Like yesterday when Jaya asks him to talk to Pallavi he just says - I don't want to talk in Telugu and goes away. Today when he feels disgusted with himself he chides his reflection saying what the heck are you doing. I absolutely love these small interactions

Nah not blind trust but it is just that she is that deep in love with Raghav. I feel the creative's are setting up Raghav's guilt - on one hand you have Pallavi so deep in love with him which he absolutely adores and wants and on other hand the fear of losing her. That is why when Lungi wala Raghav says by doing this Pallavi will leave RR stops himself from telling the truth.
