Really enjoyed the episode today. I knew Sunny would try to talk to Laxmi.

How conveniently they added the dialogue of Pallavi asking him to promise not to avoid custom duty. So the writers are showing us they don't have amnesia. It didn't even make sense because during the Lion track they weren't close enough that she could ask for such a thing.
