Pride and prejudice feels

Why do i feel that the situation between priya- Neeraj- Maitri is like that of Lizzy- Wickham-Lydia of jane austen's drama Pride and Prejudice?

Does anyone else is getting the feels?

Actually Maitri is a lot like Lydia, now that I think about it.

Maybe Maitri was convinced that Priya only liked Neeraj and did not love him- so she was justified in marrying Neeraj. Maybe in her head, Maitri was not stealing her sister's ex, just marrying a guy who was friendly with all sisters 🤷‍♀️
