I guess along with this it’s also about Raghav coming to the realisation that he deserves the love he’s getting. He has loved Pallavi no doubt and Pallavi loves him back. But somewhere deep inside he doesn’t feel that he’s enough. That he’s capable of that love and hence the insecurity which keeps kicking in. Raghav not wanting to tell Pallavi about his illegal business is one of his insecurities only. Deep down he knows Pallavi might not be okay with this. He doesn’t know if she would still love him the same. He is scared to lose pallavi so doesn’t want to let her know, at the same time he wants the power as well. But in mid of all this he already feels not enough, not deserving of the love and now added is his guilt that a young boy died because of him- which I guess will show up gradually. Right now he’s in denial, his defence mechanism is acting up. So many demons Raghav has to leave behind by the end of this track. Some very powerful writing needed here!
So true. He knows the peril is knocking his doors but he's into denial because he simply don't want to accept or change. His ways have served him so far and somewhere I also feel that may be, just may be he has this feeling that if he's not able to match up to the expectations of his family, they would love him less. Deep down he knows he is doing something which may not be acceptable to Pallavi but he is shutting his eyes and desperately trying to keep it from her too.
Money took his family away and money has driven him to power that he is using to keep his family secure and in comfort. So he equates power with money.
