Imlie fights for Adi's honor once again - Page 2

Actually it's amusing to see people like AC gloating and thinking that Adi's token sorry to Malini about her having to go to jail means he supports her over Imlie. 😆

They are deliberately building up this image that just cuz Adi isn't supporting Imlie with the case means he is supporting Malini over her or that he thinks Imlie is wrong😆......this is a red herring......cuz it really isn't about who Adi supports over the case.....he is dealing with the baggage of his trauma so he is just trying to avoid dealing with any kind of complication or mess.

Anyways karte rahein villain log overconfidence....jitna aas lagaayenge Adi se, utni hi woh CHOP bhi karega when the time comes😆

I loved Imlie tiday especially in the scene with Adi - how she said even if she doesn’t get any support from Adi, she is enough to fight this herself 👏 what a contrast to when they showed didi - who wanted her dad and mom and her entire crew all the time. What is wrong is wrong - and my favorite was when she told Adi that if he had forced himself on Malini, she would file an FIR against him too That’s the imlie we know and love! And this is the Imilie that Adi loves too- I was reminded of what he told her in PD- for him she is the most beautiful when she stands for her principles and fights for it - even if it means she has to fight him.

The last scene of Adi gave out exactly how he is feeling. He is ashamed and feeling guilty that he betrayed his wife 😭 he just wants to take the blame on himself . You said it perfectly when you explained this is how he felt when he was forced to marry at gunpoint.
Imlie is going to fight this on her own and she will do whatever it takes to punish the guilty.
Lol on KC entry - when he said he accepted the case because he knows how Malini is 🤣 no one around thought that was weird 😆 didnt trigger anything for the Ts lol.

Didi is shit scared now that Imlie has a lawyer to fight the case - that’s prob why she pulls out the fake pregnancy card.
Oh all the talk about having proofs indicates that Adi sees all the proof but will be too late because didi will announce pregnancy - and then I think starts another fight from Imilie or will she back out- only time will tell.

Good episode today - tomorrow is mahila mandal and Ts somehow coming to court on time. Let’s hope they tackle this issue well in the court.

Today I will bring the main things for me that is forming the premise of this track :

1) mans pride. Like desai lawyer said which man would admit that he was violated against his Will and that is also tied to the fact that adi will not accept the truth. Until

He hears it from the horses mouth he won’t accept and that is why I am not sure about the camera playing a role anymore . It might plant a seed of doubt but it won’t lead to any full force action. His honor and his guilt is too great . Only if Didi vomits then maybe and this vomit may happen and I am very sad to say that this but only after imlie NDe.

2) This has come full circle . 9 months ago in the face of false accusations by the villagers imlie sacrificed her all and even was going to sacrifice her life by standing in front of adi with the sickle in hand to fight for his life and him. She gave up Everything and today she is doing the same I feel as she is at the risk of sacrificing everything if adI doesn’t believe her and she loses this battle. In her mind she would have lost everything cos to her vishwas is important and if to the end adi doesn’t believe this then to her she has lost whether he says he loves her or not. The case is immaterial but to prove his innocence.even if she proves his innocence his lack of vishwas will make her in her mind a loser

3) Didi will go see chomu to plead her case and maybe seduce him but somehow I and I don’t know if I have become delusional like Didi and her mum but chomu won’t flip. I hope I am not proven wrong and if so it won’t be any baby but a fake pregnancy

4) adi fight internally for his vindication will be long

You have highlighted Adi's plight very well below. 👍🏼 Think the fact that he betrayed Imlie is playing constantly in his mind, mixed with self loathing and Dd's push to reconcile is making him run from the truth. It is much much harder to process that he is a victim and how did he let that happen to him, let things get to that stage.. when a person is conned, taken advantage of, the how could you fall for that haunts the person for a good number of days.. and that is exactly what Adi is going through. He can't express his disgust at himself to the family or even Imlie right now, but his eyes speaks a thousand words. His family cannot even process that he maybe a victim in this.. refusing to see what is unfolding in front of them.

I dont think many get that he is playing the vicitim so well, so in tune with his core ckt that it maybe overlooked and assumed to be something else. He has faced and seen the realities of trying to get a good expose printed whereas Imlie is too idealistic and naive. Something tells me she is will emerge victorious in this endeavour, clear his name, restore his dignity n respect back.

@bold: So true...I'm also loving how she is just fierce in this calm sort of way....sab sun rahi hai but her resolve is unshakeable. Even the fact that Adi isn't supporting her isn't shaking her conviction....she is just calmly explaining her stance....and yes, she is seeing his trauma and what's holding him back. That is why she stated clearly that she will not back down from fighting because this is about her husband's honor and his respect......she will fight even if he can't.

Re: the point about feeling conned and that feeding the need to deny that this could happen to you.....yes, that is probably playing a part too......it is a huge thing to process....that not only did you get violated, you got taken advantage of by someone you trusted as a friend....and that however it happened, it means you betrayed the wife you love with all your heart....that is definitely what's killing him inside. He really needs this to be proven a lie in order to find his bearings again.....until then, he will continue in this broken mode feeling too off-balance to think clearly. But I guess with the fake baby angle coming, it will take a while.....sigh.....but yes, in the end, I would like to see Imlie winning the fight to restore his honor and dignity again.

I also don't see Adi blaming Imlie right now.....he is simply grappling with his complex emotions and trying to just resolve the matter quietly so he can stew in his shame and self-loathing.....lol....but Imlie has understand that her Babusahib needs his honor restored back to him especially since he is innocent of the claim against him.

Baaki yeah I'd also like it if Imlie motivates and convinces Adi to agree to testify to this in court since woh Desai is boasting so much ki yeh kar hi nahin sakta.....but woh pregnancy card ki wajah se I guess sab moot hi ho jaana hai either way....lol oh well. Adi aa bhi gaya testify karne toh generic bhaashan de dega and will again try to take all blame on himself - this gadha🤔😆

Baaki I guess Adilie ka direct convo about Adi's feelings regarding the events of that night are still pending....dunno if we will get it now though since the story is being fast tracked with the gears switching to this case.....but yeah, he needs to talk to Imlie directly about his guilt and self-loathing as a victim....he probably needs to hear from her directly that she doesn't hold it against him and has forgiven him cuz he is the victim in this situation.

I know we all analyse & get the subtext & nuances of Adi-Imlie as well. But the general audience I feel won't understand Adi's turmoil until it is spoonfed to them. Because the audience even expects that the victim show fighting spirit in the ITV when in reality it is such a complex thing to fight such cases. Hence my thoughts about giving a full fledged scene to Adi where he explicitly tells whatever turmoil he is going through.

I think ho jaayegi spoonfeeding bhi as this track progresses😆......for now, the main audience will be happy enough to see Imlie fighting for justice😆. Adi toh waise hi leaves most people confused and irritated😆.....but de denge uske scenes bhi clear karne ko that he's still devoted to Imlie and he's a victim getting trapped here.

Watched an episode on time after more than a week (it feels like forever) and what an episode it has been.. our Sherni Imlie is back; the Imlie who bears the crap out of the boys who harasses girls on the streets, the Imlie who fights for justice, the Imlie who didn’t think twice before sacrificing her dreams by agreeing to marry to save Adi’s life, the Imlie who Adi adores the most and we LOVE to watch day in and day out. If it is any other time and any other occasion Adi would have been super proud about his wife and would have announced it on loudspeaker proudly that ‘he is her husband’… but he is too traumatized now and it is more to do with how he has wronged Imlie and hurt her than how he was wronged and how he might have wronged Malini. He never denied that Malini is not the culprit but as usual he doesn’t much think about what Malini does, it doesn’t matter to him.. all that matters to him now and what is eating whole self in guilt is that he has wronged Imlie. Imlie is his only truth in life, nothing else matters.. I wouldn’t bother about his token apology to Malini, because it is just that token as it always has been, it doesn’t mean he is supporting Malini over Imlie.

coming to the Adi Imlie scene I liked; Adi never once said take the case back because Malini is innocent, but he again and again stressed that Imlie doesn’t have enough proofs to back her claims, but even if she proved that Malini is the culprit, it won’t satisfy Adi because he is culprit in his mind because he let it happen.. he is too confused.. reminded me of what he always said about his forced marriage with Imlie.. bandook ki nok par shaadi ke baad meri dhajiyya ud gayi, mere gurroor ko tes pahuncha.. Now, it is that feeling added with the guilt of hurting Imlie. So it is double dose now.. he needs some time to settle down and absorb everything that is happening. Imlie understands this very well
