Agree, they are trying to bring back the old Raghav…at least that’s my understanding from the Promo…the line, him being bekabhu…is the Raghav that we got introduced too…ruthless rash unapologetically adamant & arrogant…ppl trying to calm him with injections can also indicate that the authorities are trying to clamp his illegal ways but he still resist… I still don’t see it as anything to do with him getting mentally unstable…drugs tho bilkul be nahi…

I hope you are right but to me the whole scene reminds me of actual psych wards. Infact just recently saw a pt tied up in exactly same manner . And the way he is shouting....looks like break down to me. How it happened remains to be seen. Promo doesnt give me vibes of old ruthless Raghav at all.

Promos are always dramatic and over the top…I don’t think this is to make him look like a villain but more of grey character only…Raghav does indulge in unethical means to run his business and this was going to become a point of contention between Raghav Pallavi…some one is definitely going to get hurt/die…khoon ka paisa is a clear give away…Raghav may consider this only as a collateral damage but Pallavi may not see it that way…won’t blame her…she has been idealistic… so it’s more of ideological clash leading to a painful separation and/or redemption and reconciliation that we might get to know as the track progresses…

True....promos are misleading. But I wasnt saying they are showing Raghav as a vilian . What I meant was the whole blood money dialogues looks like the premise of a big change. If Pallavi cannot accept that Raghav.....den Raghav has to change.....bcz they are the leads....they hv to be wid each other . Now Pallavi is anywys ideal , so dt means Raghav would be made to change and these dialogues hint at dt. My point is when he isnt evil , then why change him.

@ bold : This is what I would love to see as well.

I feel it’s more to do with his underhand way of dealing his business than change him as a person…let’s see how they take it…

Exactly!! They dealing with their separation n all that with new perspective is all welcoming but raghav ko sidha sant bana do. Nopes .big no.he being a grey character,n using underhand methods to deal with person like sunny in his business is what makes him raghav roa .That attitude n aura is what attracts to his character.he can be softest of soft for pallavi or his loved ones n can be cruel for people like mandar n sunny.so nahin I don't want him to change.Their new story with both pinning fir each other is exciting for me.I just don't want the reason for pallavi to leave because of Raghav illegal business.though she doesn't know in detail but she always has an idea raghav is no pure. She has faced it herself.so ,her leaving for that reason is not tolerable.Blackmailing or to save raghav whatever but it should be only her love n concern for raghav for the separation.

When the marriage fiasco happened , he was overbearing and told her she was better off without her selfish family, but when he realised that that was what she craved for he willingly let himself be humiliated and gave her back her family. Yes, he was dead wrong first in snatching it away but i believe he’s made amends over and above . His love is in his actions. He always shows in deeds than use big words to proclaim his love. My point is , he was never a don in his personal relationships . It’s only in his business ventures he is one. So why strip him off it ? As you’ve said he was introduced as a grey character and even though he’s a don he has his own codes that he lives by. He takes care of his own like nobody’s business. So this don has his ethics too. So when he becomes white what then is there to show? Everything becomes hunky dory and that’s it? Is this where this track is leading to? The very essence of this show is Raghav Rao Hyderabad ka don. That’s how they promoted this show too. We all got caught up in the tornado called Raghav Rao because he was different. I don’t want to speculate as to what will happen but I do hope the Don is left untouched as I don’t think I can bear him being stripped off it. I do have Low expectations but for Ketan I’m willing to put up with anything.

Spot on and loved the topic and analysis. Each of us have a certain grey trait whether we want to agree or not and Raghav's is just one too. Anyone totally doesn't have it, people infact will take advantage of their goodness. That's how I have seen this world

So if you are interested in the discussion......you are wholeheartedly welcome. If you dont want to speculate and would rather wait for it all to unfold ........kindly ignore the thread.

Let me start off by saying....the new promo has finally grabbed my attention and I feel like I want to watch the show again. Its interesting and exciting. If I keep aside the words that they both said ( I pissed wid Raghav for even saying Pallavi is wid him cz he is rich and at the same time I dont like all dt sone ki lanka dialogue either bcz Pallavi alwys knew who Raghav was ) and ignore the separation track. I can see a new love story forming. This time they know they hv loved each other but they are also aware dt they have huge differences between them and those need to sorted out to make them dt perfect couple that they till now thought they were.

By all this what the makers are trying to achieve I guess.....is the lost usp of the show. The show was at its peak glory days when it revolved around just the two of them and their contrasting personalities. After the Mandar track failed miserably they are trying to revamp the story and take it a step or two back. Its unfortunate that somewhere they will kind of lose the progression they made all this time but it will also make the bond stronger. I alwys thought the confession was a bit premature . Had they kept it till the end of Mandar track......it would hv become a whole different scenario ryt now. Having said dt I do look forward to the track.

But what I dont like about the whole promo or the tone it sets is that Raghav is some kind of evil that needs to repent and rediscover himself. I am not saying Raghav is a saint but then he was never meant to be a saint. It was always the undertone of the show how they both being so different , enhanced each other. Then why does he need to change. He might not have used all honest ways to get to the top but he has always accepted dt abt himself. A lot of people do dt but not all of them fall down back to riches to become better people.

Also Raghav has always been a grey character. The prefix Don comes attached to the Raghav Rao. I dont really want him to change his personality for love. He needs to learn and improve many of his traits maybe but his overall personality defines him and the story since its inception. So I wouldnt want him to change bcz that changes the entire story only.

Anywys lets see if the promo follows up wid substance.

My 2 cents:

RR 's identity is not of a Don. He became a don due to circumstances of having lost his loved ones etc etc and lack of love in his life even from his mother. That young Raghav learnt duniyadari and to grab things if he wanted them. Thata he became a grey don.

Now, the very circumstances that created this don have changed. Now he has both love and respect from mother and wife. Now the premise of him having to become a don to survive in this world with dignity has no more basis.

I am not saying he should change overnight. But that trust Pallavi is currently displaying, its her message that now she wants to believe he has changed.

And going forward he will have a family with Pals..a son, a daughter..a life to look forward to..to protect and cherish. He will definitely not want his kids to suffer social and legal disgrace for what he does at his job. Otherwise he would be putting his kids through what he went through in childhood.

So change banta hai. Its time for him to change and be a family man. This is just normal like all of us. Many men who travel stop doing so after wedding or when kids are born.People change the nature of work or business after marraige or kids. Its a natural change because you want to hold family as first priority now, and your job, career everything else just becomes means to support and nourish your family.

Our jobs , goals or aggressiveness , passions change with changing times in life. Its natural progression. So Raghav changing into family man or Pallavi changing into lady working for family business is pretty normal.

Becoming Don was his necessity, staying Don is not. Its a very normal thing for wife to say , that its okay if we have less money but lets feed our kids honest food. Its a regular discussion among couples because world keeps throwing baits which you have escape and keep up some ethics while raising kids.

Looking forward to this track...its very realistic .

Dts your perspective and I respect dt but I dont agree to it.

Firstly its not about who Raghav is and who he identifies as. I meant to say for a lot of us (the original viewers) .....Raghav has been what he is now. Dts his personality. Dts who he has made himself and he isnt a bad person per se and dts what a lot of us love abt it. Its not necessary for every character or hero to be painted white. He isnt black........he character is grey and I dont see how it would affect his future life . Honestly I am not interested in a lonnnnnggggg plot where we get to see him see his children grow up. But dts just me.

And no....not all businessmen change after marriage. Dts incorrect. Business has a lot of dealings and undercuts dt the family of these business are unaware of or choose to ignore as long as everythng runs smooth. Raghav isnt killing people.....he isnt a murderer or criminal or goon who needs to change himself for society. He got a award an a successful entrepreneur for all we see. So he has a respectable position in the society. He can change a few things but he doesnt need to change. If love wants to change you compeletely from inside out.....its not love

hoping for the best

Yeah dt is definitely the good part of it. Even I am excited to watch a plot that revolves just around the two of us where we dont hv to crib for lack of Raghvi scenes every episode😆

You are right but I m not giving excuse of ITV but for trp typical routes are taken. If the same equation n persona of leads are maintained I m all to it. But even if they don't maintain it I will put it under usual tropes of ITV is what I meant. 🤣 no offense taken. But at end even u accept it's the TRP which is make or break so many serials don't maintain grey leads. It's yet to see a grey female lead. Might be there were such leads but I have not seen one till now.

Whatever happens they can't change the toofan to thandi hawa ka jhonka

Raghav Rao was is ans should remain grey

there is no just black and white grey exists and tht needs o be explored

i still think Raghav's you are with me because of my money Is how he used his money and power to trap Nikhil and force Pallavi to marry him

Sone ki lanka

girl please iss lankapati ke 30 lacs return kar

the dialogues in the promo are OTT in the actual episodes it will play out differently

i can't stand Raghav gong insane but then again the stress has to get to him some day

pallavi was his calm but when that calm is not with him there is only chaos

This is exactly what I wanted to say too.

Dts the very essence of the show for so many of us. I loved how both of them could see past their differences in ideologies and see the good in the other. I loved how despite being such different personalities they could agree on things and were able to understand where the other was coming from. Dts what made them so lovable.

And as you said we all hv caught up wid The Don Raghav Rao and fallen in love wid him bcz of who he is. He is everything you said. His actions speaks more than his words. MHRW is known for Raghav Rao. No offense to Pallavi but Raghav has become synonymous wid MHRW. Even SP promotes RR everytime .Ketan has worked hard to make that impression on RR .

@ bold : True. Raghav deserves love........love that sees past his mistakes and loves the real him.
