Sorry I'm butting in, I love it too. People here carry proper lunch bags with so many boxes and I don't get those desi stacked dabbas here but I'd love to have one. It's got such a homely feeling to it❤️

Well stack one, when I was a kid I tend to find it fun to stack them up...I still do 😆😆

if ever I have the chance to come visit India, I will have to go shop for that..

yes the steel ones.. like those are the original ones or something, in my mind..

it gives me also romantic vibes 😆 you know who the men would go to work, and carry the love and care of their wives or moms.. maybe forget their food. either the wives would come by and bring it, they would eat together etc.

I know, I am a crazy one..

anyways, in my office some of the Indian colleagues do bring it along and smells so nice and all..

when they open it up I am always waiting for the surprises to come out.. I never take their offer to try some because, it is their wives love in it for them you know.. and besides..... I would eat it all...!!

Ok.. back to Raghav.. poor guy... seems he will lose his mind a bit fearing Pallavi to leave him or she actually does.. he is in denial.. that Pallavi is with him for his riches.. everyone is with him for his wealth..

oh oh Raghav... if only you knew that I would never leave you... not ever...

Lol, I could be biased though . Where I live I mostly come across young people who work in IT or MNC's they don't really carry their dabbas like this

Maybe some older women do , but even my school teachers didnt carry steel dabbas by hand , some of them carried tiifin boxes which they could sling it like handbags lol .

I am slightly biased too, lol. Not majority carry those dabbas here, but its not rare either

Haha , yes you can carry different items of food , without making them soggy . I used to have 2 boxes stack on top of each other . One for curry and one for chapati . When I was too young I would carry my snacks box , lunch box and a water bottle separately in a basket 🧺 .

In my teens I didn't want carry a basket so I carried them all in my school bag , Tupperware has become more popular and I replaced these long boxes . I don't know if they are still used as much as they used to be .

Aww thank you, I'll be ready😆❤️

Hehe, there are so many random desi things I like and miss, now I'm looking up online to see if there's any way to get a dabba online although I might never be able to use it in public😳😆

I missed out on the experience.. here we have "normal" lunchboxes or those little thing plastic bags to put you sandwiches in...

no nice Indian lunches for me.. just bread with something on it.

see.. there is nothing romantic about this story.. what a crap childhood story this is... 😭 but ok at least I had lunch 😊
