You can't make someone love you.

Sanjana is stupid to think she can force her way into dev's life. its the same how many stalkers think. Someone either likes you or they don't. You can tell them you like them but that's it.

Romantic Love isn't just about liking a person. its needing them , feeling attracted to them wanting to prioritise them. You can love someone as a friend too. (thats not friendzoning its just is a real thing)

Sanjana and many other people like her think because they like someone it will be reciprocated. she doesn't even know dev enough to like him, she's liking the idea of dev she's made in her head. its not love or liking its stupidity. even if in some universe dev and she get together either she will be massively let down by dev or will end up in an insecure needy space.

Sona actually loved dev with time. she also didn't tell him when he was being engaged because she beleived in his choice. if dev chooses someone else then she didn't want to ruin his happiness. sona loved dev the person. sanju loves dev an idea, a toy with no actual feelings or choice. she isn't acknowledging him as a person

I agree. I don't think Sanjana is that sorted enough to understand that just because she likes someone, that person will also like her. I don't think she understands that even if Dev didn't have Sonakshi in his life, there is no guarantee that he will like HER. That part is lost in her.

As you said, she likes the IDEA of Dev, the guy who writes romantic letters, buys flowers, jewelry, helps people when they are in trouble, is rich and handsome, likes her cooking. He is everything she thinks a guy should be, she loves that idea of the guy. She doesn't know Dev at all. He hasn't mentioned anything about himself, even his wife he has mentioned in passing.. he didn't tell about himself, his family, his interests, likes, dislikes. He had mentioned absolutely nothing. Whatever little she knows is because Sukhi mentioned a couple things about him. Even that description, she has edited to suit her own narrative. She hasnt seen the other side of Dev, the anger, jealousy, the ruthlessness, stubbornnes, his mother and their unlimited connection, the compromises he expects. No, Dev has a whole world in the other side that people won't be able take at all. Sonakshi deals with all of it because she truly loves him.

If Sanjana truly knew and understood Dev, then she will know what Sonakshi is to him. She would know all this fancy glitter of Dev will fade in a second if Sona is not there in his life. As Dev had said to Sona "From the moment I wake up to the moment I go to sleep, I only know to love you."

No need to know much about him , know about Ishuworry and Maa & Beta .2in1 ..( one take other one free policy ) is enough ..., wish she could have tasted it though

Amd from no angle Dev's looks so depressed from his that she is thinking he needs her. So how does she came on conclusion that he needs a despo low character girl like her.
