BACKDROP : Kashaf is the female lead of a pakistani show called Zindagi Gulzar Hai. She's young woman raised by a single mother, faces a lot of class and gender bias while growing up. However, she realises that she is worthy of love when Zaroon walks into her life. She's always had some complaints against her life from the almighty but eventually she understands his perspective and realises that for sure ZINDAGI GULZAR HAI (Life Is Beautiful)
----------------------------------------------------
Kashaf is someone who's never felt the love of a father even though he was alive since he left her mom and married another women just to gain a son. She had always yearned for that one soft stroke over her head and snuggle in her father's arms as a princess.
Ou girl Pallavi too never understood the warmth of a father figure because her biological one wasn't around. Even though she found such a figure after her first wedding for a span of 2 years but still that love wasn't around her. Both these women have had strong support of their mother's in their lives, who influenced their thoughts in a positive way. As they made them independent.
Zindagi ek bohot bara masla hai itna bara masla ke us ko hal karte karte insan khatam ho jata hai. Magar yeh hal nahi hota. Kamazkam mere jaise log to issse hal nahi kar pate.Pata nahi ALLAH ne kya soch kar dunya banhi he
Kashaf never intended to have a man in her life, swearing off on their existance the same way Pallavi refused to have one. She was widowed at a young age, could have remarried and walked towards a sunset with someone new but she chose not two. Both these spirited women showed me that having a partner in their life is not a necessity but maybe just a want. And well we all knw that there exist a thin line between both the terms.
They both started on the wrong foot with their supposed partners as Kashaf dropped Zaroon down on the second position at the University entrance exams, claiming the first position for herself showing the world that women were no less, inducing a title of "Chudail Awwal" from him, Zaroon, who had a thought that girl's can't be on the top even though he somewhere respected the competition . Where in a similar way Pallavi went out in the middle of the night, taking it upon herself to earn for her family. Binding a load of saree on her scooty when she met Raghav, a fierce Don, who though respected women and their stance of equality but still burnt her sarees in rage and alchocol claiming that women can't drive.
But it was these women who proved them wrong by winning the challeneges against them and the society.
Main apne aap se darne lagi hoon. Kisi se mohabbat insaan ko bahut kamzaor kar deti hai Bahut bebas , majboor, mehkoom
Kashaf found love in Zaroon in the small minute details that explained to her that he cared. Love knocked on her door on an unexpected evening when Zaroon gathered the hot tea that was gonna get spilled on her accidently by the servant. She saw with surprise at how someone would ever care for her this much, not bothered about the pain caused by the hot liquid and this is when she realised that if he can protect her from such small things in life then he can fight the whole world in order to protect her.
Pallavi refused walk into a new life as she neglected raghav's proposal just like Kashaf did for Zaroon before the tea incident happened but even Pallavi couldn't later on ignore the small details he did for her. Raghav, a man full of dignity and self respect, ego too, laid all of it on the floor infront of her baba just for her happiness and forgiveness. He stood up for her at times when even her voice lacked out confidence, it was then that she realised that if he can bow down for her keeping his dignity aside as if she was his queen then he was always gonna keep her on a throne, protecting her from the evil world.
Tum mujhse poochte ho ki mujhe tumhari kaunsi baat acchi lagti hai .Main tumse kaise kahoon ki mujhe tumhari kaunsi baat acchi nahin lagti
Life wasn't easy for the either of them. Kashaf always had to make sure that she never made a mistake to avoid any more taunts on her single mother after her father left them to rott. Pallavi tried to keep her family from falling along with keeping a burden of being a young widow, trying to save her family from further taunts even though nothing was her fault.
Zaroon taught Kashaf that she was capable of loving herself over anyone. That she too deserved to be loved. There were times when she couldn't believe if it was true or not. He kept her as his queen, the way she should have been treated since the very beginning of her life. He explained to her that even though life is not a bed of roses, it is till beautiful with excitements, thrill, pain and pleasure.
Apne ird gird tumhara ghoomna..mere wajood se na hatne wali tumhari gehri bolti nazrein..tumhari har waqt ki tawajjo..tumhara jaan chidakne wala har andaaz..har baar jab tum mere maa baap ke liye ehtaraman khade hote hoo toh main tumhare samne jhukne lagti hoon..Aur kya kuch nahi jo mujhe tumhaare saamne moom nahi karta.
Raghav gave Pallavi her wings to fly out of the cage she had trapped herself into. He made her realise that she too could be special to someone in ways that she can never would have dreamed of. A life where everyday wouldn't have a rainbow but after every rainy night, she'll watch a beautiful sun shine above with a new rainbow as they stood beside each other.
Par mai yeh sab tumko kabhi nahin bataungi, tumhaare har vaade par hasungi, tumhaari har baat ka mazaaq udaaugi.Tum mujhe sang-e-marmar samajhte ho toh samajhte raho. Main tumhaare saamne rait ki deewar nahin ban sakti. Mujhe toot jaane se khauf aata hai.
Pallavi and Kashaf have had similar struggles in their lives. Atleast for me. They have shared pain by family. Accusations by society. Biasness just because they were trying to be strong and independent women. But eventually they found their meaning of ZINDAGI GULZAR HAI.
Achay Waqton Ki Tamana Mein Rahi Umr-E-Ravaan
Waqt Aisa Tha Kay Bass Naaz Uthate Guzri

So many of you in Pallavi's AT asked me to draw more parallels between Kashaf and Pallavi. I know there is much more to it, alot much deeper into their wounds so i couldn't refrain myself from penning it down last night after all my work. As i wrote about their perspective i realised that maybe alot of us are like them in someways.
I hope i did justice to your request. Fell free to add if i forgot anything.
This one's special for my PPS squad since we gushed soo much about it last night.
