1) I think its pretty common to think "shadi ke baad thik hijayega". All desis who encourage arranged marriages say this anytime a conflict in said arranged marriage arises. It's not even about Amma + Raghav's own experience. This is such a widely accepted view of most desis with regards to arranged/forced marriages. Whatever little bit of "good" or "decency" Raghav saw in Sunny was diminished the moment Raghav found out they were siding with Mandar. Two wrongs don't make a right, but I can understand how livid Raghav is with Sunny internally, enough to make him be that dramatic with his sister. Raghav is clearly just over all of it. Those two enabled Mandar to do what he did and that is probably constantly running through Raghav's head. He doesn't see Keerti being willing to listen to anything, she's gone as far as getting her own brother divorced, that's why he isn't listening to Pallavi's advice of sitting and talking it out.

Keerti is not an animal..who needs to listen. She is a free person who can make mistakes. RR cannot be making decisions for her...

I agree..Sunny is not a good guy. They need to slowly unwind her affections to him. But why the hurry to do matchmaking and fixing an alliance? That rush made Keerti escape and marry. I felt bad for keerti today.

And they have been together for atleast 3 years now..maybe have gotten physically close too....it would be hard to move on.

About shaadi ke baad thik hojayega..that thought process is there but when its mutually agreed arranged marraige. Not when girl is in love with someone else.

My own cousin did this...because her parents not only refused to meet the guy she liked, but also arranged a match for her against her wishes. A day before wedding she went out on pretext of getting blouses stiched...never came home. Next day she got married to the guy she liked , went to police station to seek protection.( yes by Indian law after age of 21 two people can marry and seek police protection if they fear retailiation from families). And then called parents to let them know she is married.

The loss of face , reputation and money for parents was high....the poor guy who came from US to marry her on arranged marraige..he went into shock. So many lives negatively affected.....

But then why should parents force thier child when they are saying no. Girls are not some gaay bakri .
