If this really is true, and that’s a big if I know 😆, he has no qualms against destabilizing Imlie and their relationship in the short-term if it means they’ll live happily together in the long-run. 😳

You know I really hope this is true girl. Loved your analogy and agree - the guys is so he'll bent on reaching the end goal, that he does not want to see or entertain any thoughts that could derail him from his current destination, which is a happy shaadi huda life with Imlie. Dealing with Malini, her feelings or even her being in love with him is something he knows but does not want to face as that is a Pandora's box that will need him to confront and finally tell his best friend that he did wrong by her and he cheated her. He has to tell he that he can no longer go back to being the same guy who tolerated her and was willing to commit to her at one point of time. He has to tell her to her face that those 7 years do not hold the same meaning for him as they do to her. Again the reason is simple - he does not want that guilt again where Malini's breakdown is his fault again. So he is refusing to touch that shit with a ten foot pole and Imlie suffers in the process.

So while I get Adi's issue, I still want him to suffer for putting Imlie through all this pain just to get his shit together. So that is why I am rooting for a separation.

But I agree, he is jaan bujh kar walking on eggshells with Malini and making her hear what she wants just so that he can ensure that the end goal of divorce is achieved. He reminds me of how horse breeders tackle fidgety and untamed horses - they lull them into feeling safe and fine and finally put a muzzle on them to ensure they are in control - Adi is doing the exact same thing with Malini.

I have doubt about cvs intention behind this SR .I think sr with dd and pregnancy ( fake) drama is next

SR drama tak ppl might still hold on.. With fake pregnancy coming up it will be too far fetched no?? Again Adi will be guil tripped n Malini all over.. Already audience is loosing patience.. Yehi dekhna hai to why not watch some old bhagyas

With ipl comin in they have to maintain their viewership..they won't atleast go this way.. My only hope
