This track was supposed to be Pallavi centric with the story focusing on her relationship with Mandar and D family. Unfortunately the creative's couldn't do justice to any character. I think in Indian TV usually there is more emphasis on the male leads back story as the majority of viewing audience is females.
When Raghav was narrating his past then it was a good time for the creative's to give some back story of Pallavi - like why she feels indebted to the D house and what happened. That would have set the base for Mandar track. Without foundation nothing stands and that is what happened when the creative's suddenly introduced Mandar and made him a creep overnight.
