Today I didnt paid attention in RaghVi scene much my eyes were stuck on shivi she was looking soooo Beautiful today this hairdo.. The Saree color was great it looked really nice on her❤️

Ok I have a different opinion here. I don't think Pallavi is defending Keerti, she's just pointing out what Amma and Raghav are doing to Keerti is wrong and what approach should be followed. She's a more practical and reasoned person and her stand on Keerti hasn't changed since the beginning. She was willing to give sunny a chance (when Raghav wanted to buy him off) and when she realised his truth, wanted to explain things to Keerti. Ofcourse, she got busy with her own more pressing problems and Keerti was anyway to the point of no return by then.

I don't think Pallavi is the kind to let Keerti falter and make her mistake when she knows how wrong Sunny is and how important the decision to marry the right person is. While Keerti has the right to make her own decisions, Pallavi knows not to interfere because it will backfire on her.

Raghav always had a patriarchal mindset towards Keerti. He used to have her followed, kept strict tabs on her and now she's rebelling because she found a way out. You know because Pallavi is so strong herself and because of their forced marriage, Raghav doesn't dominate Pallavi otherwise he's an alpha male through and through.

@Italics: Yeah that's a good point. I think I just don't want her to go anywhere near Keerti LOL. I know Pallavi wouldn't be Pallavi if she didn't speak up for Keerti in this situation, but at the same time I'm like (to Pallavi) girl, just stay awayyyyy from that one LOL.

maybe this track will be about Raghav letting go of his patriarchal ways. Being alpha male doesn't mean you have to be controlling and patriarchal/misogynist towards your own sister. But this is desi/poc people culture. It's ingrained in our family dynamic/structure for the eldest male to have that "power" over the women in their family. And I agree, because he's in love with her, because Pallavi doesn't take and actually is able to fight back against Raghav, and because of how their relationship started, we'll never see Raghav being this way with her. With Keerti, he thinks he's being the older brother and protecting her. He trusts Pallavi to make her own life decisions, he doesn't trust Keerti to do the same. Idk, I can't say I blame about that bit tho LOL.

I loved today's saree color too! The pink-peach / salmon color was really flattering on her.

I'm glad Pals is there but still far away from this matter. Also, Raghav behaves with Keerti because he's the protective older brother and because he believes Keerti to be not smart enough with her decisions (he isn't either but that's a topic for another day).

His dynamics with Pallavi result out of their past and her behaviour. I love he's not patriarchal with her and nor will she allow because it's a relationship of equals.
