I think Mahi is an open end character for the audience, jisko jo chahiye usse woh lelo types and writer wanted to keep her like this 😆

But my point is in desi shows the central protagonist is always the one who drives the story and here it’s Farhad who has said he saw love in her eyes and usually writers always prove the protagonist right in such situations and hence the narrative is from his lenses here so how’s it loss that Farhad saw something which was never there?

Farhad himself agreed that she never promised love, so Farhad deranged ya obsessed hota toh woh ye baat toh nahi maanta? He could’ve blackmailed her if he’s be obsessed or wanted to win an ego game here, but no he genuinely saw the love which he emphasized and that’s where I say that once the protagonist has instincts which makes the narrative of the whole show it can’t be completely redundant right?

It’s just sad how they never showed Mahi having her own monologues except baddua rants, the way Farhad explained his love, Mahi could’ve explained why she is not in love or in love or whatever but nahi

Also another thing is Aamna doesn’t comprehend the story or doesn’t try to kya? Why’s she repeatedly saying that it was love at first sight for Farhad? It was not, he would t care much unless there was the leading on and the blend of fake friendship leading to mutual attraction and flirting. Didn’t everyone in the show repeatedly clarify this? Then why’s Aamna saying it love at first sight and not acknowledging the real crux of the story? Just because they didn’t show us the full leading on in details doesn’t mean it didn’t happen, it happened and apart from Farhad nobody defended Mahi emphasizing that she did lead him on and he ended up falling in love.

Love at first sight hota toh none of us would’ve complained about Mahi’s behavior or her words because that’s Farhad who chose to fall for her but here he was invited to come and lose it and Mahi started it even though innocent prank but still Farhad didn’t do anything because he couldn’t handle the beauty or aura of Mahi, he doesn’t care unless he’s given reasons to care.
