Are undoubtedly Nakul, Disha, Ram, Priya and the execution of their characters.

I mean I am unable to picture Ram and Priya as anybody else other than Nakul and Disha even though I have watched BALH1 and the main reason is Ram and Priya does not feel like the same character as S1 being played by different actors. Nasha feels like they are completely in the skin of their characters. I have watched PKD as well but it was ages ago and I don't remember much from the show plus Nakul and Disha were more younger at that time so they seemed to have matured as people and actors as well and give a totally different vibe now.

Nakul fits the character perfectly as someone who is rich, borderline snob, stylish, fiercely protective of his family especially his siblings, is a go getter, a lover at heart and very committed. His comic timing is also spot on along with playing a person who is in control and in charge of everything other than his own emotions. I love when he leans towards eating and his medicines for everything he does not want to face. I think kudos to Nakul and the way Ram has been written.

Disha has been more of a surprise to me as I think becoz I have always seen her as a very happy, bubbly and a calm person. Priya on the other may be calm but there is storm within her which can burst at any time and Disha has shown us a very subdued performance where even in scenes she is shouting or insulting she does not go OTT and gives a restrained performance which is believable.

I don't know but there is something regarding the chemistry between Nakul and Disha that even when they have only shared screen place in the 5th episode, I could feel their chemistry since the auto scene in the 1st episode. I hope the writers are careful and fully utilise their chemistry and not give unnecessary plot lines just to create drama.

I think all will depend on the execution of this show storywise and characterwise as if a story which has been seen before too is beautifully made then it can create success like no other. Therefore, I just wanted to conclude that I am watching this show due to Nakul and Disha's acting and chemistry and Ram and Priya's interesting characters and difference between their though process.

I'll be honest here, Disha came out much better in the episodes comparison to when the promos were aired. Even Nakul is decent so far but sometimes he scenes with Vedika do confuse me a bit even though it is one-sided as mentioned through the dialogues.

As Priya, in the first episodes, was bit skeptical but she is decent so far. First week was okay though despite certain random tracks such as the random date which is usually like gambling to pick out the apt partner (probably it could be the execution that was weak in those scenes + the irritation Priya's father exudes when he appears onscreen which is for TRP purposes or filler purposes).

The entire Ram and Vedika track is very confusing and kinda irritating at the same time especially Ram's constant chants of Vedu.

But I guess we have to hear her chants for sometime in the show until he starts feeling for Priya. And the father is the most OTT and negative out of all.

Yes agreed in some scenes execution could have been even better. But right now I feel it's going strong.

I just loved episode 5. It was amazing. Ram got completely taken aback when priya came it was like storm has arrived . He got very nervous and scared and couldn't speak properly. I just can't digest this vedika chant its boring.Even after marrying priya he will not be able to forget vedika and will always support her.

Yes they have completely immersed themselves in the characters of Ram-Priya and have brought their unique touch to their characters such that it feels as if this new Ram-Priya was written for them and them only.. Really proud of them as their fan 👍🏼⭐️

Yes their chemistry is beautiful. From PKDH to this.. I can see their journey clearly.. And the level of comfort that they share offscreen just adds to their portrayal onscreen.

The characters have been written well and are interesting till now... If handled properly this show has actually got immense potential.. I just wish the cvs realise this and give us an awesome story which we know will be portrayed amazingly by NaSha ..

Nothing against him reacting differently with Vedika, I mean he's had feelings for her that won't go away that easily, just the execution is too weak therefore I feel more confused than irritated as to the purpose of inserting this factor. It just feels weak in executing the plot.

I agree.. It feels like the Ram-Vedika angle has been poorly written.. as if the makers are themselves unsure about their dynamic other than the fact that ram loves her unconditionally.. But without a solid foundation it feels weak.

Makers should develop this angle in a better manner so that we can relate to them...

Agreed

@Bold: I can't listen to it. It is very irritating

The Vedu chants are fit in between Ram's most convos which makes it irritating. I think sometimes it will be better if they leave vedu out of every conversation that Ram is having. Another issue is we don't know the full back story of Ram and Vedu and what were the circumstances that they broke up.

I think this will be a matter of concern when Ram will carry on with Vedu chants after marrying Priya becoz we all know he will for atleast some time but this will break Priya's heart for sure even if she will not say that out loud and her trust issues will act then.

Bold: Exactly, until they give more depth to this factor, it will be weak in execution as to what is their background properly. Obviously, down the line, he'll ultimately get over the one-sided love, but without a proper information, Ram's history with Vedika will feel more vague for the continuity of the plot.
