At the end Talent MGmt does more harm than benefits. Talent MGmt agencies control the life of the artists. SSR was advised by his Talent MGmt agency to scrap Ankita and date with any celeb model to match the BW standard!! Talent MGmt believes in bubbling the career without confirming strong base and root for the success. Talent MGmt can be instrumental for becoming star for short period but not for a long sustainable career as an Artist over star. For me, becoming Artist will automatically secure the stardom.
The talent like Aru should be picked up by real key players of music industry today or tomorrow. It's not required to be in SM, in news every day. One single song can give a talent the way to success. Patience is the key, there is no short cut. Aru has to go through the struggling phase, that will build her footings strong.
Having dinner with political leaders may keep them in discussions but will not make them singers. 😔

Bold 1: The track record will bear out your statement. But I am hoping if they do more business with talents, the talents will make some money. They only invested in Suraj Rosario now. Earlier they had some vague minder looking after talent.
Bold 2: Very true. Becoming an artist can time though. You don't want to slip into nothingness before that. Salman Ali has a Talent Mgr., Ankush has the same manager. They do independent shows abroad. The others don't have a talent mgr. and do no shows abroad. I strongly believe that shows are the biggest revenue source of any artist these days. For that to happen you either hire your own Talent Mgr. or rely on the one provided in your contract. Salman Ali, Nitin, Neelanjana, Ankush had a Manager even when they were under Sony Talent Team. Salman and Ankush continued with him after the Sony deal got over. His name is Chocolate Pi. Very effective mgr.
Bold 3: Bhumi Trivedi, Jyotika Tangri, Antara Mitra, Anwesha Duttagupta, Nikita Gandhi, all have multiple Bollywood songs and some have super hit songs (just mentioning some female singers). They are as far away from real success as they were before. They still rely on shows, gigs to earn a living as far as I can say.
