Bharati Singh and Harsh Limbachaaya are not the main leads of MehndiHaiRachneWaali

When will Sikku understand that our show is not comedy circus.

Thank you

I found it painful and uncomfortable to watch..

He is being made as a punching bag...

First it was those uncountable amount of slaps..

Now this beating thing...

I hope they take this seriously and stop it once and for all

Just because he is a man doesn't give anyone a pass at hitting him constantly even if said person is his wife. And that raising of hand was completely unnecessary and chauvinistic. Just shouting at her would've been enough.

That's what am worried for... It showed if she can beat him in frustration,

He can raise his hand in retaliation or panic...

It's like normalising the violence ...

Not good, not cool at all

And I would say he wasn't being chauvinist there, they tried to show his panic, he can't even listen about her dying..

Which I don't think was necessary, he could have held her hand stop or like you said shouted on her...

I hope this beating thing doesn't repeat in future, not cool at all

Yeh wali post separate bana👍🏼

Bahut sahi baat likhi ho tum! And yahi baat mujhe gussa dilati hai, or main Kam aa rahi hoon IF pe aaj kal! Kyunki hum toh itni mehnat karte h AT chlane mein, baki koi ready nahi hai, Raghav ke liye Uske hi AT mein aane mein! Uske liye appreciation post krne mein!

Akele hum kya kuch kare!

that slight slap by Pallu to him, was good😳, when he said sorry, i wont do it again

That's the thing ashu, the no of unnecessary slaps he had to endure is not fair... Though some were well- deserved ..

Girls like to hit and play with bro and partners/ husband and it's completely fine it's their dynamics..

Like you said the last she pushed his face was okay no harm...

But beating with stick is seriously not done...

I get ur point though.....wid role reversal it wouldnt look funny at all. But some girls do hv the habit of hitting frnds when they are annoyed by them. Nobody hits wid a broom or stick but hitting wid hands is not uncommon. Pallavi seems to like more stronger weapons.

But yes its getting too much these day. Needs to stop.

Their idea of what's funny is seriously questionable...

Yes it was repititve and unnecessary, and not funny at all..

With role- reversal it would be scandalous and dangerous...

Forget about beating I can't even imagine Raghav hitting pall it would be so damaging both physically and mentally..

They need to think at this point...

I agree Girls like to hit and play sometimes with their bro, partner/ husband... It's just for fun though not to pour out frustration...

I hope they stop this ...

Completely agree. I have watched that scene many times and he raised his hand to silence her but not to strike her. I totally get what you mean about this conveying the wrong message because even if he wasn't planning to hit her the whole sequence would make it seem as if a violent spouse might receive violence in return. We know he wasn't going to but not everyone in the audience understands these nuances. Unfortunately too many people are influenced by what they see on TV and even use it to justify their actions.

And yeah, we don't want to see Kabir Singh type of stuff being treated as comic relief here. Hope that never happens.

Damn we really do nitpick at everything in this show. I was thinking today Mandar is so smart but he don't show any issue with pals wearing that long mangalsutra, how come 😂

Oh some of them do like this jhadu pitayi

Don ho ke biwi se maar khayi .... So funny ...

Her beating him and him raising his hand even in care or panic - not cool it's normalising violence...

I like the way you think it's hilarious and out of the box...

I like to take everything they give in the story...

I don't like to make a fuss about anything...

It's just that I knew no one will make any post like this on Raghav..

Raghav's issues are non- existent for the fans...

Either ppl don't care or mock

Or they just gush and praise...

No serious discussion on him or his issues

Exactly. He's RR so who cares about such sensitive issues related to him, right?

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one feeling this way. If I make such posts about him people say I'm biased because I love the character instead of focusing on the point I'm making. I have called out Raghav's wrongdoings many times and will do so whenever I see it, like him bulldozing over Keerti's life for example. So if he is being wronged I will call it out too, not just here but in general. In fact, I do this for other characters too but people conveniently forget that and accuse me of blindly supporting him. I understood what he does and why, but that doesn't mean I accept or condone the bad things he does.

I remember all the fun people made of Milind when BWA hit him. I don’t get this mindset.

This is why toxic masculinity needs to be addressed, because society mocks guys for being beaten or doesn't take them seriously. This prevents them from speaking up and then you have a vicious cycle of abuse. It's not just about the physical pain, but more the emotional and mental harassment plus loss of dignity that hurts them.
