Kanwar even correct Gossips on Twitter recently when he tagged him as supporting.

So I feel he only needs to talk with makers about his stand. Makers haven't cleared it out that Kanwar too is a lead that's why no one is tagging as a lead.

This may be the case.

I don't think the makers will bother to correct every other award show.they won't care about such things.

Had star parivaar awards been conducted, that would have gave some clarity.

We may like or dislike the story, but shiva is not ignored as a character by the makers.in fact they give him maximum screenspace, dlgs, emotional scenes, fight sequences.KD has hit the jackpot with this role as he gets to perform as an actor.

Infact he is given importance in tracks that doesn't even concern him.

Now that you have mentioned about the dance sequences, he is indeed the centre of attraction.

Exactly, it's a dream character, and the makers haven't been unfair to him or Shivi story. They focus on them a lot!
