Don't get me wrong, I love Geeta ji and her amma as well, and I love what a fun and relatable character she's become. But I always wanted that amma and Raghav go through their mending phase slowly, little by little, like an icy layer thawing up. It was one of the tracks I was looking forward to the most, and I'm sad that we never got it. Amma's sudden realisation and apology... it just didn't fit well after those years of bitterness we were shown. But I still loved the reunion scene anyway — both Sai and Geeta ma'am were amazing ❤️
But yeah, Ragini ma'am would've given us a different amma, and I do miss it sometimes

I felt at that time her rude aura was needed...like they were not in good terms and stuff...I am not denying for Geeta ma'am but she had that aura
Not sure though how she would have portrayed it now but at that time I feel she was the right choice
Also, if you think about it... both times Pallu came to him like a breath of fresh air, a distraction he didn't know needed.
That first time, she interrupted the day of a top businessman. His job came with a lot of stress, but for a few moments she took his mind off it. All his shrewdness washed away as he got lost in those eyes. He could see the innocence in them. He wanted to admire it but she was panicking, caught in that cage. In an instant, he relieved her. Everyone told him she was the culprit, but he just wanted her happy and free. She tugged at his heart and he simply listened.
This time too, she came and took his mind off the stress. Once again, she's a beautiful distraction — a sight for his sore eyes — and he wishes to get lost in it. But the cage is here this time as well — the cage that is Mandaar Deshmukh. Once again her innocent eyes are tinged with panic. But this time, being stuck with Raghav isn't worrying her... rather it's an assurance that they'll make it out. He kisses her eyes, the ones that had binded him to her in the first place. And even through the anxiety, Pallavi finds her peace ❤️
