To be honest I agree with u..his hatred for ravi before the wedding was beyond my understanding actually..unless it has something to do with hidden jealousy for her affection towards dev. .I wasn't following the show that time thinking it was the usual hero manhandling heroine and later love develops kind of story. ,.I started watching the show when ravi tried to commit suicide and there was sudden change in shivas behaviour. He was very caring composed and supportive in his own way towards ravi .post marrg shiva was someone I really admired..he was more matured unlike dev whose actions don't reflect maturity .ravi becz of her misunderstandings insulted and hated shiva a lot post marrg..but his reaction towards her was pretty indifferent..he never took insult rather he accepted it all saying he is what he is...shiva always stood for the right thing and he was fun and spicy...after seeing this side of shiva I fell for this character..

That is a bit unfair.

They have actually shown scenes where Gautam cooks and feeds the boys. Please watch the Noor-e-khuda sequence. He used to take care of everything and Dhara would just pitch in during festivals or big events.

Asking your spouse to make maggi is a normal thing- I know how to cook, but I often ask my husband to make something, especially when I am lazy or if he makes a particular dish a special way.

And post marriage Dhara basically pulled on all housework and asked Gaumbi to concentrate on the store. Over the years, I assume Gautam just lost touch because Dhara would just get all the work done.

As much as I dislike them now, or don't connect with them- I would never discount the work bith have put in pre-leap

i have watched from epi 1 and he was downright pathetic to her pre-marriage child shiva threw ice-cream at raavi why? because she was related to prafulla that is not careful behavior adult shiva blew his bike smoke at her face why? because he does not likes her as she is related to prafula adult shiva also forcefully dragged her out of his house again why? he does not likes as she is related to prafula also when she bought t-shirt for him as token of good gesture he tried to throw brick at her ? again why? because he does not likes her as she is related to prafula

"Iska naam raavi hai" ought to be my fav scene of Shiva.the wedding , greh pravesh..... I had such high hopes from their story . They didn't do the right thing by making raavi normal so soon. Rishita vs raavi had a lot of scope ..raavis ptsd and shiva supporting her would be have been a better track....

Agreed. That part of the story , fhe foundation bit , they did realllly well...specially after the disaster of a wedding that gombi had with Anita....and how suman used to treat dhara..it was unbearable to watch...
