Ok so while going thru some of the threads today, seems a lot of us did not like the episode, first of all due to the Sulo/Swapnil love/comedy or whatever it is, Raghav in teasing mood and the Mandhar/Pallavi creepiness.
So, I think we all pretty much figured out that the Sulo/Swapnil scenes are there as comedy fillers. Some of us dont like that and some do. Some make hot chai memes, some find it disgusting. Everyone has their own opinion and yes if roles were reversed, we would be bashing it left right center. We all agree on that for sure. Sulo is married but still eyeing another man, do we or rather do I do that as married woman, yeah....dont we watch Raghav shirtless and ogle at him, ofcourse maybe some dont, some do....so Sulo is right there in person. Will she act on it, more than likely not....and if she does, then we really are getting into total cringy territory. But we agree that it's a bit much and seems they are showing Raghav using that to his advantage. When doing the heart, Pallavi was not looking at him, the heart was done and sulo returned it. Pallavi looked at it after and then got upset. Totally understandable why she got upset, I would too if a strange man does that to me. So basically this is there as comedy relief but what the writers are not realizing is that a small percent might find it funny, but majority are not and it doesnt fit into the whole situation presently....just my opinion please feel free to add yours.
Ok second track is Raghav teasing and playing around with his wife. Remember the hospital scene which was a serious scene, he decided to trick her into thinking he had memory loss and she got all upset and then he felt bad etc. Well Raghav likes to tease her, which we all understand and a little bit the night before would have been fine but it should have ended ASAP. WHen he realized that Mandhar had something to do with the sari situation at that time as he already guessed, he should have let her know that he is there for her. She seemed so disturbed and completely not in her element and then he touched her hand while she was applying cream and she got even more upset. So what if Amruta was there, she knows what is going on with them so why couldnt he tell her infront of her? Atleast to ask how she is? He knows that Pallavi always masks her emotions and lets everyone think she is ok....but with him she is open and wouldnt he want to ask how she is? He returns to the room and never thinks about the fire or the sari burning or what actually happened and that he should find out from Pallavi what did Mandhar do. None of that came up and we all agree, all he cared about was why she didnt recognize him, and then decides to play around with her. Next day in the kitchen he is waiting for her and even then plays around, despite knowing she went thru a serious situation the night before that he still doesnt know about, but instead he is teasing her. When he collided in her, he should have said it then....do we blame him, no....we blame the writers who are not letting the scenes flow and continuity is missing as well all in the name of TRP or tadka or whatever they want to add to their DAAL.
Alright the last thing that is causing us grief is Pallavi/Mandhar. Before I continue, No one is blaming Shivangi or Pallavi. They dont have control of what is written for them to act. They go by what they are given so this is in no way against Pallavi or SHivangi, please understand that. The scene itself was out of nowhere. She was all ready in the morning but decided to take a shower again in the middle of the day...OK someone said that it could be for some reason, alright i give that she needed to shower again and wash her hair etc. Then we talked about how she came outside the bathroom to do her pleats and she never does at RR mansion, so people said wearing sari in bathroom is hard, it gets wet, and at rr mansion they have the dressing area....OK i get that but she had the whole sari on already....pleats are the last part, if it was to get wet, wouldnt it get wet while putting on the whole sari? The pleats were already in her hand, she just had to tuck them in. Why couldnt that be done in the bathroom? The writers should have thought of that. Ok then when u look at where the bathroom is, people are walking around there, Swapnil got there, Mandhar got there and Rama got there which means its a high traffic area...so why come out and do that there where you know people will be seeing you and two creeps are there. And yes, she knows Mandhar is a creep because of the way he asked her to do back massage, holds her arm while asking her to light the photo on fire and she should also remember the mangla gaur where raghav told her mandhar carried her to his room and thats where she woke up. So she should already know he has bad intentions and she knows he is obsessed with her. When he took her sari and she rebuked him, I get that she was trying to be subtle and not ruin their plan....understandable for sure and no she did not ask for it but she should be cautious. No one is saying she asked for it by standing there and doing pleats and that mandhar came there. That it was all her fault....NO....it is not her fault, she did not ask for it and I am not saying that either.....She should have been more vigilant and more cautious.........NO ONE IS BLAMING PALLAVI...The situation was such that she was scared, understandable, she was frustrated, also understandable, she was shocked, yes totally understandable and she couldnt act on that as that has never happened to her........What I am saying is that the whole scene was out of nowhere. If they really wanted to show something similar they could have shown her in the kitchen reaching for something and Mandhar comes and gets creepy, Raghav comes and sees etc and realizes things are getting out of hand. It could have been anything else like she is handing something to Mandhar and he holds her hand or whatever........just saying that the whole scene was out of place. Not Pallavi/Shivangi's fault at all. The scene they showed was just cringy yes and if they wanted to show how handsy Mandhar is they could have done it differently. The bathroom scene was just thrown in, in the midst of the day to get Raghav to realize he has to tell her the truth and stop playing around.
Just so everyone knows........my stance is and will always be that first of all women are not at fault when they are assaulted etc. just because of how they dress or act etc. Regardless of how they dress, Men should respect women at all times. Here I am not blaming Pallavi in any way....the scene was not right that's what i am saying. The writers and cvs need to take a look at how they are showing the scenes and how logical it is. Yes ITV has no logic, i get that, but sometimes u need it.
Ok that's it....PEACE OUT!
Feel free to add your views...agree, disagree....its all good...we can all agree on one thing...the episode was not up to par and the scenes could have been done differently. The actors are doing a bang on job trying to keep up with what they are being thrown. I love both Shivangi and Sai, so I am not blaming them in any way and neither am I blaming Raghav or Pallavi. The writers are butchering the characters.
