Desperate Housewives

Hey guys, i was watching a few episodes of Desperate Housewives series 3 and i realised that there were a lot of similarities between that and Kayamath.

1. Orson falling from the top of the hospital car park after being pushed by Mike. Orson actually survived as well, like Milind falling from the cliff.

2. Mike's amnesia is like Milind's but that was better handled. If only Milind would undergo hypnotherapy like Mike instead of him clutching his head everytime he has a flashback (even though we ain't seen one for a long time).

3. Danielle getting pregnant with Austin reminds me vividly of Sukrati. Although Bree's attempt at hiding her teenage daughter's pregnancy is loads better than Prachi covering for Sukrati and saying she was the mother when she never even had a bump. Bree actually does have a fake one.

Anyway just thought i'd share my observations with you.😃

But what about Neev and what will be the end of story? 😃

I don't think Neev fits any of the Desperate Housewives characters.

Oh, I simply loved that show....hope the next season is shown soon!

The comparisons are so apt....do u think that the dodos at BT really got their inspiration for their tracks from there....if so, i wish they'd copied it scene by scene !

Thanks Bhav for listing the similarities btw DH and KYMT, don't watch desperate housewives, i tried to catch a one or two of the episodes, but gave up on the show.

Hehe! 😆 😆 😆 What season are you on pippa? We're on season 4, just started. Shame the creatives can't do it like DH. I think it would be funny if they do Bree's storyline with the psyco pharmacist!😆

Please don't insult Desperate Housewives while comparing it to Kayamath. I know your not, but I think both are a class apart! 😆 Its one of my favorite American shows!!!

The amnesia track in Desperate housewives ended in 8 episodes.

The PA track, Bree is pregnant etc. etc. All those tracks are not the main track of the whole season, but the side-tracks. Over here PA, PIM is the main track of the story.

All FOUR characters are given equal prominence.

Each episode has a story, its not just a filler episode designed to keep the audience waiting.

There are INTRIGUING twists and turns. Not the kind that makes you wanna scratch your hair out.

The problems you mentioned above are much LOGICALLY handled in DH. Like as your said when Bree gets pregnant, she confides to her husband about it, instead of keeping mum. Both her and her whole family are in this act together. And thats the logical route.

All characters are complex, noone is 2 dimensional. All of them have their faults, which makes them more relatable and more fun to watch. No sacrificing queens, some of the heroine's are actually selfish. 😆 Even the resident vamp shows signs of being a nice person.

Its FUNNY.

Infact the only reason I watch Kayamath is for the chemistry between MICHI (and maybe Neev). I think, had it been another couple. I would've left this show long ago. Thats were Kayamath beats DH. The chemistry between the lead actors , otherwise everything else is much better in DH 👏
