I think they thought to go in typical dark revenge type routes but yes covid ruined their plans. The constant shuffling of locations and hotel hampered their plans. They literally didn't have much scope in that small hotel rooms. Even sometimes I feel the camera would not take the appropriate angles and shots they wanted
