Bin Mausam Barsaat Khushiyon Ka Telegram Hota Hai…
...Kya Pata, Iss Baar Iss Telegram Pe Aapka Naam Likha Ho?

In the first episode, the first scene where we meet our thodi sawari, thodi bawari female protagonist Pallavi, she lives up to her theme music. We see her rise to the challenge and go above and beyond to sell a picky customer the perfect sari- and not just because she wants to make the sale, but because she wants the customer to indeed have that perfect sari for her special event. Her words and her actions reflect maturity beyond her age- until it starts raining, and her inner child leaps out in the most beautiful ways possible.

Pallavi, draped in bright yellow, laughing and twirling in the downpour, is a vision to behold and stands out against the rest of the world, crowding the streets with their umbrellas, too busy treating the rain as a nuisance to enjoy the beauty of the moment.

But responsibilities soon make their presence known, and she realizes she needs to head home- the rain makes finding a rickshaw or taxi difficult, so she heads over to her friend and coworker, Krishna’s place, where she receives a hostile welcome from her mother, and is immediately reminded of her widowhood, and given a white sari to wear, deemed socially appropriate for her, and we see her once again display immense grace in accepting the sari, but rejecting the social stigmas that it comes with, all while staying firm but gentle.

As Pallavi, decked in white, finally heads home after the rain lets up, she has little idea of what the fates have designed for her that day. A young girl selling kumkum on the streets approaches Pallavi, but soon backs off seeing her white sari- as far as the world cares, Pallavi no longer has any right over the color red. The little girl runs off, and serendipitously runs right to the very man who would bring everything that red stands for back into her life- anger, passion, marriage, and love. Today, he too doesn’t believe in love, and though he buys the kumkum, he throws it in the air, and in perhaps one of this show’s most iconic shots, it falls straight on Pallavi, coloring her white sari a bright, vibrant red.

Image

It’s not going to be a bed of roses for them, which is made quite clear as the very next moment, he drives off, splashing mud all over her, but they’ll make it through. Later, as Pallavi washes this white sari, the mud splatters wash off eventually- it’s the red sindoor that leaves it’s mark behind.

A Missed Connection

With the fates having now marked Raghav and Pallavi for each other, it's inevitable- it's gravity, that will keep pulling them towards each other, ensuring that they'll keep almost crossing paths until the day they finally collide. One such missed connection was, quite literally, a missed connection- while trying to reach one of Jayati Jewels' subpar designers, Raghav reaches Pallavi instead, who, without having any idea who he is, bursts into a rant at him for being a terrible plumber, and demands he come home, do his job, and not to forget- clean the drains as well. When Pallavi is in form, she spares nothing and no one- and Raghav-the-plumber gets roasted on even his 'english-speaking gentleman-giri'

Image

From what we've seen of Raghav Rao, he's not one to be rendered speechless often, but she certainly bewilders him into silence this time. Just a trailer for her over-the-phone roasting skills, of which we will get a full feature film worthy exhibit later in the show, with Raghav's own childhood friend and adulthood enemy on the receiving end.

Image

Darr Mujhe Bhi Lagta Hai, Kadam Mere Bhi Ladkhadaate Hain,
Magar Khud Ko Sambhaal Ke Aage Badne, Wohi Zindagi Hai

Raghav isn’t the only Rao sibling to witness Pallavi’s fighter mode today. A few hours after that memorable phone call, Pallavi runs into her friend Kirti in the market, visibly distressed and trying to get away from a man who is incessantly following her. Pallavi, who is scared herself, still has her wits about her, and despite her fear, confronts the aggressive stalker, all while recording the entire interaction on a phone camera, and threatens him into leaving Kirti alone, else she’ll post the video on social media.

It is said that courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the ability to go on despite being scared, for there is something that is more important than the fear, and this scene introduces us to just how courageous a woman Pallavi is. Kirti is right in calling her a sherni, that’s exactly how she responds when her loved ones are under attack, for, in her own words, they’re the people from who she herself draws her happiness and her fortitude.

Grit Anchored In Grace

When Raghav and Pallavi finally collide, their collision is as fiery as one would expect. Pallavi’s righteousness and Raghav’s rage make for an explosive combination. Unbeknownst to her, her friend Kirti was Raghav’s sister, and the stalker she scared off was assigned by him, to keep an eye on her, and Pallavi’s intervention had made it impossible. Barbs and threats are exchanged, with neither willing to back down, and the encounter ends with Pallavi’s sari stock set ablaze on the side of the road, her last hope of keeping her sari shop, the sole source of income for her family, up and running.

As anyone in the moment would do, she breaks down- cursing her fate, cursing the lords- wondering what crimes she’s being punished for, such that no matter how many challenges she faces, there are always more. But, she pulls herself up, since she has no other option but to do that, and heads home, putting up a facade so as to not worry anyone else, happy to shoulder the burdens herself.

Though determined to pull through, Pallavi doesn’t see any way out of the financial crisis the shop is in now. The saris now lying in a pile of ashes were her last hope, she has already taken on credit, the shop’s rent is due, she needs to buy gifts for Mansi’s wedding and somehow, nothing she seems to do seems to be enough. She needs to buy time, somehow, and that’s when inspiration strikes in the form of a discussion with her Ayi over what to wear for Mansi’s wedding functions, and she is reminded of her own reception sari, woven with strands of gold, yet unworn as she was widowed on her wedding night.

Image

A sari that could have been a reminder of what she lost, of the moments that fate stole from her, instead becomes a beacon of hope, as she painstakingly pulls out each individual strand of gold from the sari till all that’s left behind is the red fabric, and prepares to exchange the gold for money to buffer her family’s financial needs.

Image

Chhalka, Chhalka Re, Kalsi Ka Paani
Chhalka, Chhalka Re, Aankh Na Maani

One of Pallavi’s defining characteristics is her ability to pick herself up and move on from whatever life throws at her, perhaps to her own detriment at times. She has lost so, so much in her short life- losing her parents as an infant, losing her husband mere hours after getting married. As she puts on a brave and happy face, and becomes an unshakeable pillar for her loved ones, her own emotions are repressed deep inside. This sequence is one of the rare occasions when she lets those feelings surface, and the melancholy and despondence in her eyes is haunting. The song chosen to set the scene is perfect- for once, her eyes betray her, and the sadness is not contained.

Surrounded by the festive occasion of Mansi’s first wedding function, the first wedding in the family after her own tragic one, she can’t help but lose herself in a reverie. As her family and friends sing and dance and make merry around her, she sees her own self, dressed as a traditional Marathi bride, eyes sparkling with joy, a sharp contrast to her present, haunted gaze. She chases the daydream through the crowd, the longing for what she has lost evident in her eagerness to reach her more innocent, less jaded, less hurt past self, but it’s a futile effort- she’s chasing a ghost.

Image

Image

The lyrics she sings in this stolen moment, where the facade slips, suit the scene perfectly.

“Bhole Bhole Pairon Se Chali, Chali Re”
I Came Along Walking On Innocent Feet

The Pallavi Sawant who married Mandaar Deshmukh was an innocent, naive young girl, dreaming of a fairytale marriage, an orphan who was gaining not only a husband but a vibrant joint family from this alliance. Pallavi Deshmukh, who is Mandaar Deshmukh’s widow, accepted and living as his parents’ daughter, has lost some of that innocence- she’s suffered the trauma of her husband’s untimely death, she’s had to step up for her in-laws as they fell apart on losing a son but still stood up for her rights and made her a daughter, she’s had to learn to run a failing business and keep it afloat, because no one else could, and she’s learnt to do that with a smile on her face. What she mourns here is not just the happy marriage that was stolen from her, but also her own old, carefree self who had the privilege to dream freely.

However, this moment of reminiscence doesn’t last long, and she’s pulled out of her thoughts by her brother Nikhil- it’s fitting that it was Nikhil, for the bond between these two is one of the purest relationships on the show, and both would go to any extent for the other. As Nikhil pulls her into the dance, it takes her a fraction of a second to put a bright smile back on her face, and dance with exuberance- she will never let her loved ones see her pain, as she refuses to become a burden on them. As she always has, she leaves her pain behind and is determined to move ahead, if not for herself, then for her family. The lyrics, once again, describe her perfectly,

“Beete Mere Peeche Reh Gayye, Reh Gayye”
The Past Has Been Left Behind Me

The Cage Scene

Image

When there is a will, there's a way.

Even the strongest of strong people can sometimes fall weak and need support to gather all the strength to fight back with all the odds.

Kaka in Pallavi's life was that support system and helped her to go for corporate orders, and there she is, at the doorsteps of Jayati Jewelers. But little did she know about to storm waiting for her inside.

The last person Pallavi wanted to see at that moment was Raghav but there he was and why not, it was his store after all.

The simplest and most obvious thing she can think off was to leave the store before he notices her, considering their previous encounters. And the most recent one where they both decided to not cross each other's paths.

Well, not every fight requires fighting, sometimes silence appears as the best weapon and Pallavi chose that only. And right now she cannot afford to fight then and there as she is already in need of some orders.

The luck was not in favor of her today and bam, she collided with the devil. The pallu was keeping her identity unrevealed but she started feeling something new which she has never felt before, this guy who keeps troubling her since they have met has suddenly turned a savior...saved her from falling and then without even questioning let her go.

Image

Kind, soft and compassionate: The Ashram Scene

Image

Pallavi took up the catering order to pay for the rent, but when things were not going according to her plan, she didn't give up on it, not because of rent only, but she promised someone happiness.

She kept her determination high and spirits up as deep down she knows that she can complete this.

Even after struggling with so many difficulties, she emerged out as a winner. She prepared the food single-handedly.

Not everyone posses this much strength to be happy in someone else's happiness but, Pallavi is one blessed soul. Despite the pile of problems she is facing in her life, she is able to find these small bits of happiness.

The happy faces of orphanage people shooed away all the stress and weariness off her.

This is Pallavi for you, happier in the happiness of others.

Be happy and kill people with your kindness, and that's what exactly happened. The person who claims to be her biggest enemy was himself smitten over her act.

Lastly quoting Premchand, Affection, love, tenderness are some of the bases on which this world is being held, and all of these are attributes of woman.

Pallavi's Confrontation with Jagdish Anna, the previous Shop Owner

Since I was watching the show from the very 1st Epi: I could already see that Pallavi's an independent girl, a pretty different route from the general ITV girl whose only aim is to get married & get nervous all the time & beg infront of God to help her out instead of taking charge. But, Pallavi epitomizes the saying "God helps those who help themselves" and we'll continue to see so in many of her upcoming scenes .

She was shouldering the responsibility of an entire family that too not her own by blood. The girl would run hither-thither to and fro so that her so-called Father-in-Law doesn't have to lift a finger cos he's a double heart-attack patient all for the immense love she has for the ones she considers her family.

We see Pallavi till now as a strong yet naïve person who doesn't know the ways to deal with people in street smart ways which she very much needs with her current financial situations of the DSE on teetering conditions.

Image

Image

So needless to say, I was shocked to see her flip out her phone still with those innocent yet fierce eyes. You can see that Pallavi has had enough of her situation railroading her & even the corrupt Jagdish is shocked out of his wits at the proof she shows to him on her phone. She states that she'll release the video of him selling sub-standard products to his customers on her beloved brother Nikhil's Channel and smartly outweighs him so he is pushed into the corner and has to delete that wretched recording of her begging him to give her more time to pay rent.

And then she walks out with full delight with no regrets for what she had to do ( I know for a fact that this streak was brought to the forefront by our very new fiery persona she encountered a day before - The One & Only Mr. Raghav Rao, but She had it in her. It just needed to be ignited). You GO GAL!!🥳

Image

This despicable man, Jagdish can't threaten her anymore and she can continue to focus on the other important things of her life. I was almost clapping with glee at the scene that we were bestowed that as Girls, We're Enough to put our foot down & squash people like Jagdish when needed.

Thank You Pallavi for showing that since the very beginning of our MHRW Series😎

Marathi- Telugu Banter - @tiara_remixfan(Neha)

Why do I relate to the scene? Well first, because Marathi &Telugu are the actor's mother tongue too, so the dialogues came out quite naturally, plus the dialogues are pretty simple and quiet catchy. There are many in the audience who may understand either one or none of the languages, but their body language and screen presence spoke volumes. Yes we have all gone back and read the subtitles, just to make sure that we understood the words and smile silly. SaiShi kept it colloquial and used the right expressions. Pallavi had be assertive and little frustrated, while Raghav had be the playful one.

The scene was set up beautifully well. From the moment Pallavi entered the RR mansion, with her playful tone one could feel that they were going to have a friendly encounter. How cutely Pallavi made herself self aware that she better get her stuff done and leave ASAP. Little did she know kitna sangat ka asar hone wala hai in future.

Mhrw Pallavi Deshmukh GIF - Mhrw Pallavi Deshmukh Shivangi Khedkar GIFs

All the scenes before this was them throwing angry glares, ultimatums and threats. Raghav always had a higher ground, but today Pallavi was going to give it back, hence she was in a mood to take the bull by the horns. The fact that he had seen Pallavi's goodness the night before made his demeanor change and this was set in every viewers mind. So the stage was set for light banter. Her first assessment at RR Mansion that how could a man play TT all by himself was just the beginning.

Mhrw Pallavi Deshmukh GIF - Mhrw Pallavi Deshmukh Shivangi Khedkar GIFs

As she entered the house further she found his big portrait, which was oozing attitude. She started talking to it, said things she would have hesitated to tell on his face completely unwary of the certain pair of eyes watching her. So when he watched her bump of a piece of furniture, his absolute calm and caring voice of "Dekh ke chaliye" caught her so off guard that when she crashed into him she was about to fall.

Image

The eye lock was among the first were they were just reading each other calmly, there wasn't any anger or dislike towards each other, just frank admiration. Something that touch their primitive instincts. And what happens when somebody evokes those kind of emotions, you inadvertently show your natural instincts and one of the prime instincts is to converse in your mother tongue. If you notice even Pallavi is taken aback by her need to continue to converse in Marathi, and almost backtracked. Pallavi's first dialogues is " Me kahi hi karein, tula kay?" Do we not all retort to "I will do as i wish" when caught red handed? His reply in Telugu and her completely dazed look was to the the point. How stupidly cute she continues to ask "Tumhe Hindi nahi aati kya?", while herself asking the question in Marathi.

Did he really need to reply back in Telugu ? No but he wanted to. I had read it somewhere...if a guy likes you he will imitate you, it is one of the ways he flirts. So maybe passively he was flirting and was liking the fact that he managed to get under skin. "Mera shakal dekhke log aksar baat bhul jata hai" simmered her further and she snapped at him "Khud ko hero mat samjho" midway she realized that she has gone off track. She had thought this will be a difficult conversation, maybe he will throw in another challenge, another protest but nope, he was being weirdly nice. So when he asked her sit down, she immediately did so while calling him a madman. Pallavi didn't think twice before sitting down, because probably he was being good to her for the first time. Instantly she regretted it and got up to finish her work and leave. Raghav very graciously accepted her offer (see how Sai extends his hand, very sincere and no foul play).

In her hurry to leave the place, she hands him over a brown packet, without checking, but much to her dismay it turns out to be a sanitary napkin packet, something i guess all of us had inwardly anticipated but yet were warmly shocked at how chill Raghav was about it. I felt that Pallavi apologized was her carelessness rather than for her/his embarrassment. She does end up settling her debt with little bit of more of awkwardness, and an eye lock but it made pathway to more Marathi- Telugu banter in future.

Of Grace, Kindness and Immeasurable Strength

(Taaveez/Mannat ka Dhaaga scene)

Image

From being abducted by a self proclaimed gangster only to find herself tied in front of a speeding truck, being threatened to leave the city forever, passing out in front of the whole family to waking up extremely shook and scared, and having to face the same man the very next morning in order to save the family shop from demolition- these 24 hours have probably been the hardest Pallavi ever had to go through. All for no mistake for her own, a revenge for something she was never a part of.

And yet this girl, like always, manages to get up and face the world for her family, for her Aayi and Baba. “Zindagi apne liye nahi, apnon ke liye jee jaati hai” - she tells krishna who wonder how hasn’t she given up till now. No hardship, no amount of pain could harden this gentle and kind soul. Even after having a day that has drained her physically and mentally, Pallavi still finds it within her to give whatever little she had to a stranger who asks for help, along with the most precious thing she owns: her prayers.

And what does she ask for in return? -happiness, but not for herself! The Pallavi we know has always been a giver, afterall.

Anonymous Blood Donation

It was the first time when I watched this serial, so in many ways it is close to my heart. It was the first time that I fell in love with Shivangi Khedkar and her brilliant performance as Pallavi DEshmukh.

So now without further ado, here is my analysis and reason why i went crazy for the show.

The way that scene starts is really something which just makes us little worried and more than that a little irritated because of Amma's and Kirti's adamant nature and feel little sympathy towards Raghav who is hurting so much... Because no matter how !uch he' s hurting... All he wants is to help Amma to get cured... She needs blood. But he's not allowed to help.

It was such a heart breaking scene.... Raghav was hurting and instead thought to serve in the holy place so that His grace might fall upon his Amma and she might get cured. And as we would later see, that's what happened! Pallavi, who was visiting the hospital for an entirely different reason ended up helping them, anonymously at that!

I loved that part, the way she saw them and she became tensed but then she asked the doctor to keep her identity a secret. It was just a pek in her nature, it shows that she is wonderful person with beautiful heart. She is such gem of a person!

Also it shows, that there was more to RaghVi than just a love story. That there was a deep connection, where she helped him like an answer to a prayer. Like God wanted to say something that she was the one. It was beautiful...

I really wish that this things comes to light in future... Atleast Raghav should know that it was She who saved his Amma.

~Bounce in her feet, joy in her heart~

(Sangeet Night & Kathak)

Image

She enters like an angel, a bright smile on her face. And the very man who had called her "not beautiful" a few days back, gets lost in her beauty smiley42

She goes outside for some work, but the night goes more dramatic than she expected. But through it all, this Cinderella has her Prince Charming right by her side — even as she rushes to get back on time.

Image

At the stroke of midnight, they don't separate — instead she welcomes her Prince with an ethereal performance... Ghar More Pardesiya ❤️

Image

Image

As she dances, graceful and angelic, in a pretty pink anarkali and even prettier eyes, it's not just Raghav who ends up mesmerised. Every single person watching her is cast by the same spell smiley42 It's Pallavi in her natural element, happy and free, creating poetry with her mere existence smiley27

~Shattering like a million stars~

(Thrown out of D house)

"Death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside us while we live."

She called them her family and loved them with every beat of her heart. She called herself a "beti" but nurtured them like a mother. Their needs, their wants, their desires... she took care of the smallest thing, even if it was at the cost of her own sweat and tears. In return, all she wanted was to be loved by them, to be as important in their lives as they were in hers.

Image

All she wanted was a smile on her father's face, and pride in his heart for having her as his daughter. As long as she had that, she was happy. After all, she was Pallavi Deshmukh — a girl with a family to call her own. What more could she want?

But a dream doesn't last forever. A house of cards crumbles at the slightest wind. That night, her dearest dream broke before her very eyes. A stranger whose words should've meant nothing — yet on that night, for her family, those words were everything that mattered.

Her own pleas and cries went unheard, it was as if she never existed. Her father, the man she adored the most, launched one venomous assault after another, each one splintering her heart in ways she never thought possible. Still she begged and cried, for one more chance. Because being a part of that family... it was never her right, was it? It was always a privilege, a favour bestowed upon her. "Pallavi Deshmukh" was a title she had to constantly prove herself worthy of, and in return that title would bind her very identity. It was a cage, meant to dictate and control her life. Yet, lonely as she was, she had gladly accepted that cage, embraced it with all her being. For this cage brought with itself a family — something she desperately wanted for herself.

And now she was being thrown away from it.

Image

Little did she know... being a diamond wasn't easy. It meant being subjected to an inordinate amount of pain, and getting stronger because of it. The tears she was shedding that night would be the basis of her strength one day.

Because she was Pallavi — a bird meant to fly.

If she was broken, so was her cage. And only one of them would rise again smiley27

Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations ✨

Every bride feels a slew of emotions on her wedding day , whether they are ones of love, happiness, or sentiment.

Pallavi,on the other hand, just experienced anguish, helplessness, and pain on the day of her wedding.

This was a significant day in Pallavi's life ,

she had vowed to fully exclude red from her life, but owing to twist of fate, she was coloured in the same crimson shade by the hands of her sworn enmity.

Image

Shivangi had no dialogues in this episode yet she conveyed all possible emotions Pallavi with her spectacular facial expressions and body language.

She conveyed ..

Pallavi’s determination to free Nikhil, as well as her agony in the very next shot , for, she’s about to take a drastic step to accomplish that goal.

Image

Pallavi’s numb state ...

Image

The fire that sparks in Pallavi when she sees the man responsible for condition she’s in ....

Image

Pallavi’s reluctance to enter Mandaap

Image

Her anger ..

Image

Relief when she sees that Nikhil is free

Image

Realisation that her predicament is yet not over

Image

Looking at cctv again , accepting her fate with silently with a tear

All these emotions were conveyed just by Shivangi’s

Her value is priceless ...

Her potential is limitless...

👑 She is a queen 👑

This particular sequence is special to me as That Day She discovered that she was Fierce and Strong, and Full Of Fire, and that not even she could hold herself back because her passion burned brighter than her fears.

Disclaimer:- This is my first attempt at writing something like this. Hope it stands out on your expectations, I am ready to accept all the chappals.

Pallavi was always a QUEEN for me.

She doesn't settle, she inspires growth. She doesn't fit in with the rest: she stands out. You'll know her when you meet her because she's the girl you've always been told about.

The fierce, savage and cunning White Queen was showed up at the reception party challenging the Black King Raghav Rao just after the weakest moment of her life.

STRENGTH COMES AT YOUR WEAKEST MOMENT.

Pallavi Deshmukh agreed to marry her worst enemy Raghav Rao. She is not a trophy that Raghav can showcase to others. She is a diamond, the brightest and the strongest one. Her value is priceless. Her potential is limitless. She is a Queen.

Pallavi was a fighter from day one, even Raghav was impressed by her fighting spirit. She challenged him to defeat her. She is a Phoenix, every time he thought she will accept her defeat she rises. When he forced her to marry him she was quiet but not defeated.

Move-in silence only speak when it's to say

CHECKMATE

The White Queen descended the stairs with a smirk and a determination to ruin the Black King. She's been to the Darkness of hell endured the most desolate times, and has been made strong through endurance. Now she walks with the Fearlessness of a Wolf, the Bravery of a Lion, and the Fierceness of a Dragon. She announced her entry with a Roar of her Name but for a change, it has a new element, his name added to her. There comes PALLAVI RAGHAV RAO in full glory embellish in her shade of white. There stood the Don of Hyderabad all thunderstruck by the move of the Queen. This was nothing the actual shock is yet to come. The fear strikes him. The Black King was afraid for the first time in his life. Pallavi reveals the story behind their marriage but with an unexpected twist, she made him a gentleman in front of society, the one who saved her from the darkness of her life, who filled colours in her life. Raghav all confused and dumbstruck by her words stood there motionless looking up to her.

Acceptance is the road to all change

She wanted or say demanded him to accept her as she is in front of the world. To make her his and the world witness it. He had no choice, after all, the Queen is the most powerful piece on the board.

She has a quiet confidence that screams loud. She is humble but strong. She is stable but rebellious. She is giving, but not naive. She chooses her battles wisely. She'll stay silent until it's time to fight and when that time comes. She will fight and she will win.

EK DIL HAI, EK JAAN HAI DONO TUJHPE QURBAAN.

He adorned her with all the symbols of a suhagan, the red bangles, the jewellery, the red chunari and the Mangalsutra. He puts the Vermilion on her hairline accepting her and ending her colourless life there. All aspects of Marriage that she lost as a widow was respectfully and beautifully given to her.

Image

Colour my world with your bright shades.

She wanted him to accept her with her true identity and he did.

'Wo safed rang ab uski pehchan ka hissa nhi'. He coloured her in his shades giving her a new identity.

Once Raghav stained her character in front of the world and now she is making him adorned her with all the auspicious things a married woman can have with all respect and admiration.

Image

Queen knows how to build empire with the same stones that were thrown at her.

Image

She has become Pallavi Raghav Rao, and with that, a new power, a new strength although unknown to her dawned upon her.

The fierce White Queen made the Black king bowed to him. The King although shocked and confused at the same time was internally impressed by the Courage his Queen behold. Nobody ever made him do anything without his will but there she was standing with her head high and cunning smirk on her face, ordering him to colour her with his shade of RED. He was impressed, he found her better half who was just as equal as him.

There is something to be said about two people who find each other time and time again. No matter what situations they end up in or how far apart they become- they come back to each other. There are people who have a little thing called FATE on their side.

She won, He lost. The game was "Playing with the heart". Image

The White Queen left the place as elegantly as she arrived leaving her white shade there and taking his RED shade with her.

She is kind but strong, and that is where ai many mistake her. They interpret bet kindness for weakness and forces her to show her strength. Never ever mistake her silence for weakness. Remember that sometimes the air stills, before the onset of Hurricane.

~Where do Broken Hearts Go~

(Leaving for Kolhapur but staying back)

So what do we have here? A man who destroyed her life and snatched away her family and identity. Why? Because he thought she leaked an mms clip of his sister. After that, he forced her into marrying him — all so he could live with his family. Blinded by emotions, he had uprooted her entire life even though she was nowhere to blame.

Image

When Pallavi finds out about it, she doesn't blame him for taking revenge for his sister. She doesn't even blame him for marrying her with selfish motives. No, because familial love is something she understands all too well — she too would go to any lengths for her family.

No, she blames him for not trying to find out the truth, for never once confronting her about it. In a way, she also blames him for thinking she could do such a horrid thing. Their bond had been one of enmity, yet they both knew it was never quite that. It was a clash of equals — equal zid, equal ego, equal attitude. They always tried to one-up each other, and somehow it had become like a game. The soft-hearted Pallavi had never expected this killer move from him, yet after their marriage she had taken it sportingly too. She'd been trying to one-up him again — the reception scene was a proof of that.

But this revelation... of what he'd thought her to be, and how she'd been nothing but a pawn in his plan... it broke something within her.

It also reminded her of everything she had lost — for no reason at all. The family she'd dedicated her life to — she wasn't even a part of them anymore. Her identity as a Deshmukh — gone, forever. She had no hopes of getting back their love and trust again. She had no hopes of getting her old life back. And this new life she had gotten instead? She wanted to die rather than live it.

Image

She was broken beyond measure... but with the next sunrise, she decided to take charge of her life again. Enough of being used. It was time she left this marriage and this house.

Image

Raghav caught her at the station, with a multitude of apologies and pleas for another chance. But Pallavi was determined — she was leaving.

So what changed her mind?

Her own heart, that never stops feeling empathy. Even for the man who wrecked her.

She felt for Raghav, because a few days back she had been in the same situation. She'd begged her family to hear her out, give her one more chance. But they hadn't listened, they'd thrown her away like a piece of filth.

Pallavi didn't wanna make anyone feel like that.

So she gave him a chance. She gave him a chance just like he had given her back in the beginning — a 30 day challenge to prove himself.

Image

He promised to fill her life with colours, to give her all the happiness she deserved, to protect her from the dangers of the world. Pallavi didn't believe a single word he said, because expecting anything from Raghav Rao was foolishness. But in her eyes one could see her longing to see those words come true. For they were not just the promises of a repenting man, they were the promises of a husband. For a girl who had never had anyone to lean on to... a girl who had always craved for a little bit of company... someone to support her, understand her, cherish her.

For this girl, a loving husband was a dream. A dream she was so close to having once — but it was snatched right from her fingers. Could life really be giving her a second chance? She doubted it, despite what the caged corners of her heart whispered. This was all about giving Raghav a chance — a chance she never got herself. As soon as the 30 days were over and he failed to keep his promise — for there was no way he could succeed — she would leave. And this time for good.

~I will always speak up~

("Mere pati" aka necklace kaand)

Yet another point in Raghav's life that paralleled Pallavi's situation with Dfam. Raghav is accused of doing something he didn't, and again the evidence is a half-baked story narrated by some stranger. His own family believes the accusations instantly... but not Pallavi. She waits to see what Raghav has to say about it. She knows very well that he's capable of twisted actions — in fact, as a direct victim, there is hardly anyone who knows it better than her.

But it's because she knows him so well that she knows he hadn't done it. "Danke ki chot pe" — that's exactly what RR is all about. He'd rather gloat about his victory than try to hide his actions. After the Jagdish anna incident, this is the second time Pallavi proves herself a good judge of character. She knows Raghav better than anyone else in his life — even his own family.

She watches on as his furious protests go unheard... and that's when she decides to step in, becoming the voice that nobody can ignore.

Image

"Mere pati" — she calls him for the first time, letting him know that she's there for him. Letting the whole world know that she's there for him. Because she knows what being alone and misunderstood is like, and she doesn't want Raghav to feel like that anymore. She's been observing his earnest efforts to redeem himself. She knows he's a good man, and with the right guidance, he'll get even better. He is a sapling that needs to grow — but here the world was trampling on his efforts, insulting and humiliating him. How could she it let it be?

Image

In a firm voice, she silences all the attackers, dishing out the words they needed to hear. It's Pallavi at her finest — strong, eloquent and confident. The kind of woman every man would want as a wife smiley27

- Don Pallavi -

Hey beautiful lady , don’t underestimate yourself,

come out of the box.

Image

She’s my dream girl: Sassy, funky and adorable smiley42

Shivangi was fantastic in this landmark 100th episode, in which Pallavi changed into Raghav's clothes to assist Amma.

Like Raghav, the audience was captivated by her performance.smiley42

“In this world, it is too common for people to search for someone to lose themselves in. But I am already lost. I will look for someone to find myself in.”

When she was staying with the Deshmukhs, this gold medalist dramebaaz Pallu was lost someplace due to a variety of issues and pain.

However, the freedom, love, and support she receives from Raos is assisting her in rediscovering Pallavi Sawant, a lost part of her identity.smiley27

Don’t confuse her silence for ignorance

Nor her kindness with weakness

Image

This was the first time that we saw Pallavi in this sequence and here, she looked no less than a form of Goddess Durga: clad in a red saree with determination in her eyes. If it were a mythology, Vijay Deshmukh would have been the demon and Pallavi, a reincarnation of the Goddess of strength. If it were possible, Vijay would have turned to ashes just by her glare in this scene, because this was not the Pallavi who would acquiesce to all of his mundane demands. No, she was the Pallavi who could make even the most feared man in Hyderabad, Raghav Rao, bow down to her. Such was her power that she had the first word and the last in the entire sequence. Pallavi had been seen being strong many times, be it while standing up for Keerti when Harish was ordered to follow her, selling the gold strands from her saree for the sake of the family or while confronting Jagdish Anna. However, this incident required more than just a strong conscience to be able to call out right from wrong. Here, the most important thing was courage. Courage to be able to stand against those who were once her own. Courage to be able to stand tall to protect the dignity of the man who had once stained her own dignity to destroy her.

What I absolutely loved was the firmness with which Pallavi showed the Deshmukhs their reality. I think she had known for a long time that they were not worthy of her love and affection, but endured all their tantrums because she yearned to belong. For someone with no one but her brother to call as family, she had probably found the most valuable treasure in this family. Besides, which family doesn't have issues right? Hence, so long as all their cruelties were directed towards her, she would take it all, but at least she'd belong. However, using her to inflict pain upon others was never acceptable to her, and never will be. So, when Vijay Deshmukh thought he could exact his revenge from Raghav on the pretext of Pallavi being their supposed daughter, she had to give him a reality check. Through all the vain attempts of people to shush her, she roared. The final straw had been drawn and the cracked walls of the dam that were withholding the calamitous waters within her broke down. The authority with which she said nobody could stop her from showing them the mirror was such a treat to watch. I believe, the transition of becoming Pallavi Raghav Rao from Pallavi Deshmukh was very significant, because we got to see the glimpse of just Pallavi, not as someone's wife or daughter or daughter in law, there were no threads attached. Between calling her "Baba" Vijay Deshmukh and holding Raghav's hand with pride, the person we saw was the real Pallavi: someone who cannot see others getting hurt, someone who can be as calm as sea but also holds the power to drown the largest of ships.

It is interesting that she kicked the jug full of water, which I think is symbolic of her drowning all the ill-intent of the Deshmukhs. The irony is that once, she used the same foot to kick the kalash full of rice when she entered this family as the bride of Mandar Deshmukh. It's considered auspicious — by scattering the rice, her feet becomes equivalent to Goddess Lakshmi's, bringing on prosperity to the house. Pallavi has always been a Lakshmi for that house, handling the finances, managing the income, literally making their dreams her own. By kicking the jug, she not only dissolved any remaining ounce of love for that family but also, as better said in Hindi, Deshmukhs ke sapno par pani pher diya.

Another thing that caught my eye was her saree. Red has connotations of fire, fury and rage. Of course, in the entire discourse, she was burning in the fire of anger, towards herself, her so called family and Raghav. The fire in her engulfed everyone who was wrong that day. She was set on bringing justice to Raghav with that fire. However, intriguingly enough, she also had black roses printed on her saree. I think those roses are symbolic of the hopes she had from that family and everyone around her, who she thought would never wrong her, which unfortunately withered in the fire of their betrayal. Her saree also had golden roses on top of those black roses, indicating towards a golden future for she rose again, stronger than ever, from the fire within her like a true Phoenix, ready to take on the world as Mrs Pallavi Raghav Rao.

- Homecoming -

|| 🥂 Cheers To New Beginnings 🥂 ||

Image Image

The day Pallavi steps into RR mansion for the first time as Pallavi Raghav Rao, she carries along with herself- warmth, happiness and acceptance. Her warmth which turns Raghav’s house into a home. Their home. The happiness that engulfs the whole house with the whole family coming back together. The acceptance which turns their marriage into a real relationship.

Pallavi, having been introduced to a totally different side of him in the first month of their marriage, has started accepting her marriage with Raghav. He has given her all the rights of being his wife and the freedom to choose for herself. And she has gradually made a choice- finally accepted her share of happiness, allowing the colors in her life once again.

Image Image

She has started harbouring feelings for him which are unknown to her. Though Pallavi doesn’t realise that she’s in love with him, but a part of her wants him to be around. The part which wants to take a step ahead and is ready to share the room with him, but there is the other part which is a bit hesitant. Letting someone in on her personal space for the first time in life is overwhelming as well as surreal for her.

But with him by her side, she knows she would do just fine.

Image

The ‘tera chehra’ sequence beautifully captures the essence of their budding relationship.

A mesmerised Raghav can’t take his eyes off his wife, while Pallavi is all shy and conscious. The start of something new is absolutely beautiful. His constant gaze on her makes her nervous and she’s all fidgety, but our girl decides to firm up and keep it casual. After all, Ghamandi Rao doesn’t need to know the effect he has on her !

She can’t ignore him, she can’t fight with him either- she doesn’t know what to do- these feelings are strange. The intimacy is so new. And until she can figure out how to rest the butterflies in her stomach, why not just sleep over it? smiley36
