This was the first time I watched Indian Idol -only, and only because of Arunita- I always thought that everything about Indian Idol was OTT, and more drama than good singing- watched Saregamapa more often as it gave more attention to singing. No. This is a big year and everyone senses that she is special. In many people's mind she is the true winning singer and just lost because of voting. So she is being treated like a winner by everyone. That is my reading.

As an example, there was no activity anything near this scale when Neelanjana or Ankona came 3rd.

There are a couple of paintings on top of a red almirah in one of the images that I posted a little while ago. My sense is those are examples of her artistic skills with the brush.
