Dowry?? this is insane.Ganaga is such a gorgeous girl, so I don't undestand why Jai is paying to get her married.It's not like Ganga really wants to get married.

It is either marriage or dowry, is anything left of the show...so horrible, 16 years hence people want to marry the boy of their parents' choice without mixing around, father giving dowry but will it ensure his daughter's happiness, where is your brain Walia?

Dowry does exists and exists in a worst way now ie lot of parents pay money upfront so they can settle their daughter overseas, especially in Canada where the immigration laws are lax. Within a year of marriage and coming to Canada, the girl can sponsor and get her family overseas too. But recently their have been abuse cases of such behaviour where parents find out the guys duping them to get money and marrying their daughter and not calling them here.

In case of JW, he has no need to do that. Why can't he wait and find a guy who wants to marry Ganga for who she is not and not for what daddy can pay?

Dowry is an evil that exists even today in Indian society. It affects the rich, the middle class and the poorer people. Only the degree of dowry differs, I guess.

Here, its not Jai trying to get rid of Ganga or selling his daughter. Its a doting father trying to get what he thinks his daughter wants. He can only be blamed for thinking that way. Lots of parents bend over backwards to fulfil their children's dreams. Jai has to talk to Ganga and communicating isn't something the Walias are good at!! 😆

I am pretty sure that Ganga isn't going to marry this guy, so tomorrow, we may see something different.

omg i can't believe the dowry came up... for god sake isn't it illegal to ask for dowry... many doesn't JW realize that he is selling his daughter... thats so wrong... if i was ganga i would say hell no... for once meera had a good point... i actually agreed with her
