She swallows harshly and breaks into sweat. Her heart trembles and her hands are fisted under her sleeves. She thinks of Cheeks who is asleep in the house and bravery courses through her veins. Her daughter awaits her at home. She cannot give up now.

She hold her pepper spray tightly and speeds up.

The footsteps speeds up too.

She begins to run now and hears thudding behind her. And just as she is about to exit the graveyard, she stumbles upon a rock and falls face first on the ground.

“Aaaaaaaa!” She screams.

She looks at the stalker- he looked astonished but unharmed. Yet the pale moonlight showed that he was unnatural. His skin was too pale and eyes too bloodshot. His face was waxy and expressionless .

Avi's love for AU made her jump to the conclusion of vampire however her rational mind also said it is not possible.
