It's a common misconception- pregnant women can walk and run about š
My sister in law ran 10kms when she was pregnant. Walking should be fine
Yep in fact, doctors recommend moving around. My cousin worked throughout most of her first pregnancy which is quite common here but amongst the desi community itās considered a bit shocking. I know some eyebrows were raised especially since she would commute on snowy days (but she was very careful).
Thankfully, this notion is changing with the newer generation. I always get upset when the gossip loving aunties treat pregnant women like they are ill š my cousins and I have discussed this many times. As long as your doctor okays it and your body feels right, you should be able to do anything.

I dont even get the whole rest concept from the elders coz centuries ago women would toil and work on their farms or houses all day long while pregnant and give birth in crazy places and nothing happened to them or their babies and the odds were more against them and in desi society you are now to lock yourself away after a certain time like its those centuries where you went into confinement like in europe lol
Poor Krish 𤣠Heās lucky SP is sanskaari and Shivaās dream will remain PG 13 𤣠or else Iām sure things will get a lot more heated š¤£

Exactly! I went to my auntās house once and she was pregnant that time. They wouldnāt even let her get up to get a glass of water. Literally would ask me to bring everything to the bed. I understand if that person isnāt feeling well, it makes sense to take care of them. But when they are perfectly fine, why treat these women like they are ill. Itās unfair and is def not what docs recommend. Imagine not being allowed to get out of bed. It makes zero sense. I was so proud of my cousin when she was hopping mad within a day or two and told off everyone. There was no way she was staying confined to her bed.
I was a bit busy yesterday so didnāt get to comment on the episode but I enjoyed it. I have to say, even though the last scene is most likely a dream⦠it had the intended effect on me 𤣠I canāt wait for Monday 𤣠they managed to keep me hooked š¤£
On the inside, Iām a sucker for the cliched ITV romance 𤣠but pre-confession only⦠can one of our amazing writers write something (preferably non-sanskaari) on the scene š¤£
