I myself am a very cynical person online and offline especially about pda lovey dovey couples etc I finally figured out why lol My parents had an arranged marriage the norm nearly 30 years back so lol my dads sis had a love one coz her hubby was a family and childhood friend so they knew each other all their lives and so did their dads etc anyway they got married 6 months after my parents and were visiting my dads uncles place. Uncles wife also they are a love marriage as well lol was like to my mom look how lovey dovey they are they are eating from the same plate etc lol my mom was like its all bs and she was like no its so sweet lol two days later the newlyweds had a blow up fight and he left her at some family friends house refusing to take her with him lol and they have been having fights that nearly have come to end their marriage several times lol my mom still calls them and their love bs lol

@bold, When everyone around you is between 23-29 and you are stuck in school with no social life outside of that, people mostly talk about relationships. I don't live where the rest of my class is (thank god), but I heard there was a group of girls who would survey the area to see which students are holding hands or mingling with which people... that level of surveying is way too tiring for me, and I honestly prefer speculating reel couples than my classmates' romantic lives 🤢 Way too stressful for me to think about when my mind is always like, "I wonder if I have enough time to write tonight"

Luckily a few years from now, in my final year, people will switch from relationship talk to talk about careers, which I am way more interested in!
