Completely agree. Most of Dev's problems are his own creation . Understand that he has issues verbalising his concerns , feelings etc and he expects Sona to understand him , without him having to verbalise , like before . But here the issue is that his expectations are a one way street . He expects that of Sona , without even trying to understand her. Whether her insecurity regarding Soha , or now Ishwari , he's just been brushing it as insignificant.

Agreed.

He is brushing her issues with his extreme bond and dependence with his mother simply because it's uncomfortable for him to face it.

But this has always been his personality. He has never been one to face issues regarding his mother head on, lay it bare and look at the bare truth. It conflicts with his opinion of her in his mind and that is too uncomfortable for him to deal with.

See both ishwari and Dev are extremely weak as individuals . They both wanna live in a make believe world where everything is rainbows and butterflies . Now this Sona walking out with the kids has been that prick in the bubble for him

Both Dev and Ishwari live in a world where both of them are perfect for each other and can make no mistakes. Any misstep is quickly brushed away to maintain the illusion of the ideal bond that they think they have.

Sona saying, you and your mother only think about each other and nothing and no one else matters, was too big of a statement for Dev to look at objectively.

He just wants her to get that out of her head. He doesn't understand it's not possible.

And Dev's love for Sonakshi was always unidimensional and selfish . All expectations but nothing to give in return except season 2 partially . He virtually treats her like a second class citizen , not bothering to even apologize after having stood up on her in the cafe but she doesn't answer one of his calls and he's popping pills

At least whenever her father starts his rant against Dev.. Sonakshi asks him to stop. Tells him that she trusts him except for the recent name fiasco. But there he was sensible enough to not interfere in a couple's fight.

Ishwari has a free reign over their marriage.

He did try to tell Ishwary that you should not have changed Ayush’s name or Shona is trying to make bond with Ayush. Again the issue is with Ishwary that she doesn’t listen and always think she is right. She feels Devakshi should share each and everything with her but not vice-versa (this is wrong). That’s why sometimes I feel for Dev as he is sandwiched between two important people of his life.😅😅 For a healthy family, one needs to move back and in most scenarios if mother moves back there would be happy understanding family, if wife moves back there would be divorce (in case of independent woman) or depression/miserable unhappy life ( in case of dependent woman who thinks char log kya khenge). 😒

There is one more category..there are ladies who thinks what husband says is correct. They just blindly follow elder order. In that category there won't b much problem. Sasuma will proudly says mera bahu gauy he (cow). All will b happy..😆

For eg.. if sona was such woman who happily accept dev n esh decision n thinks naam me kya he? Ayush ya ved, kuch bee chalega. Jo bade karte he achche ke liye karte he. Soha ladki he paraya dan he..then there would not be problem.

Here it is all bijoy n asha mistake, they raised her saying she is equal as man N she has her own identity😆.
