Felt like you were speaking my mind as I went through this lovely post. You interpreted the scene exactly as I did.

He wanted to start off the mind games in his own way, first by making it clear that Mandaar could no longer exploit his weakness which had kept him grounded and reserved so far, and second by driving home the point that Raghav doesn't play by the rules and has no limits to his ruthlessness with enemies.

Sai is exceptional in this mode and I bet he was as thrilled to play the fire breathing Raghav again as we were to see him like this. His body language reminded of a lazy , elegant panther who was just playing with his prey in preparation for going for the kill later on.

Camera work and screenplay was top notch in that scene.

Wow

I can say you have the way with words, blessed...

Though I didn't watch the epi, I can imagine the happening from your vivid description..

Mandar had caught Raghav during the his weak moments, he hasn't seen or known a calculative, shrewd, devil may care Raghav..

Now with the assurance of his love on his side , Raghav's mind and heart are in sync and proper equation, now he can show mandar who truly is the Raghav Rao

This is too good👏You have captured the essence of our favorite Don Raghav Rao in beautiful words.

The scene was so powerful and captivating that I couldn't look away from Sai even for a second. I had to rewatch to know Mandaar's reaction. I was so satisfied seeing that fear in his eyes. Like you said devil saw his master today and was TERRIFIED. All these days he was playing the dirty game standing behind Pallavi and enjoying his victory. His idea of destroying RR by separating Pallavi from him backfired and how😆

I am 100% sure RR's reaction would have been same even if it was a real divorce.

I must say you have a way with words and should definitely write more on RR.

I am ready to read that essay on Sai you mentioned in your previous post. Please write that soon.😆 But first write an essay on our beloved Don. 😆

@TM, Awesome write up.

Is it just me or anybody else got anxious with Amma sitting with Mandar on the table. If he can be so cruel to his mother, I wonder what he will do to his enemy's mother. I hope they show raghav considering the security of his mother and sister. Mandaar the monster was just able to walk into their home 🤔

Although raghav knows Keerthi is supporting mandar, he has to know that mandaar can hurt him by hurting Keerthi. How much ever we wish it wasn't so.. Keerthi is still Raghav's sister. Any pain to Keerthi, Raghav will also go through. I feel Keerthi will get into a really messy situation where her beintehaa pyaar sunset may just betray her. This could be the lesson Keerthi is supposed to learn.

Having read your posts, I shouldn't br surprised..you know great.minds think alike n all haha.

Yes, Sai thrives on aggression, adrenalin gets him going and how!! If only I had the words to write about how he has and is playing Raghav Rao unfortunately I don't have word that can match his acting ability. And when he is in power mode, everything else clicks, the camera work, lighting, dialogs, screenplay everything just clicks when he gets going

The camera loves him but I sometimes feel that through him as RR, the crew also gets to live their fantasy of seeing such a dashing character on screen.

Don't worry about wording. Just write. I'm eager to read your essays!

Thanks and go n watch the episode first, if only for this sequence, its worth your time I promise.

Raghav has not been in his element for a while due to reasons known to us, a caged lion is still a lion, the teeth, the claws, the strength and worse the killer instinct never goes away and now that this mighty beast is free from restraints, hopefully Mandaar will not have many tomorrows left!!

I feel finally its an even match, till now it felt like Raghav's hands were tied!!

In pure phillumy words the term is paisa vasool, sitti maaring character 😀!! He is that hero that can give u intense satisfactione when he rescues the damsel and beats up ten goons with pure sass n style n panache not to mention some macho taali maar dialoges, thats what he truly excels at.

Digging his own grave...Mandaar gave a new definition to this phrase today!! He had the temerity, the arrogance to enter Raghav's den and the fool had the audacity to ask him to do his bidding!!

Understood that Mandar has psychological issues, to say the least, but even a brain as unstable as his got the message lound n clear..If you be the Devil, then I be your Master!!

In his defense, (no I would never defend him but I am Raghav's pankhi, have to give him some rope to hang himself) he has never met the real Raghav Rao!! He has never heard him roar, the deep throated roar, that strikes fear in the hearts of one and all!! He never faced his wrath..that anger that can make you run for your life!! He hasn't seen Raghav in his purest form..evil incarnate..the one that hypnotises his enemies with sheer terror!!

And he got a taste of it today!! Just a glimpse, not the sheer force. Yeh toh trailer bhi nahin tha, as some like to say picture abhi baaki hai mere dost !! Raghav put him in his place, beautifully, he is a past master at that!! Swiftly and ruthlessly reminded him of his power, and Mandaar's helplessness.

Yes, he is the Raghav Rao and no, none can have access to him unless he grants it. But of course, royalty never disppoints, so he asks Mandaar to wait for him in his study. Raghav's body language always says it all, and this time it said more than any words could convey. Feet on his desk, body stance lazy, eyes hooded with distaste, simply and effectively says you are not worth my time!! Tum toh mere jooton ke laayak bhi nahin ho!! So say what you have to say, waste a couple of my minutes and I will brush you off, like an inconsequential bug!! Mandaar..haha..asks him to take his feet down and ends up being taken down a peg or two. And Mandaar, the fool that he has always been, blurts out whatever he had to say. Hats off to Raghav's restraint that he didn't kill the guy then and there. And of course Raghav is enjoying the thrill of the kill again!! The predator is back!! He is baying for the psycho's blood coz all that stood between him and his prey is all gone.

And then the devil sees the glimpse of his master, the one who will always be in charge, the one who yields the power, the one who always rules and the one the world bows down to. The chilling gaze, the stone hewn face, the deep menacing tone and the towering presence on one hand and the helpless, cowardly, cringing form on the other says it all....Run while you can, hide if you can, but hunt you I will !!

First of all, this has been absolute treat to read. I loved the way you have dissected this scene. Raghav donning his Raghav Rao Persona was a treat to watch and I have to say Sai absolutely nailed it hands down.

@bold:- Mandar all this time saw a Raghav who was worried about losing Pallavi. Somewhere Mandar had an advantage earlier as Raghav was more emotional. But now that both Raghav and Pallavi know the truth of Mandar and are on the same team - it was fun to see Raghav displaying his Don avatar for Mandar to see. I have to say the scene in the dinning hall was done superb. And then Farhad's Mr.Mandar Deshmukh Chalein ? was icing on the cake

@Red:- Mandar really was a delusional one thinking that Raghav will sign the divorce papers just because he says so. I was laughing when Mandar said - Dekho Raghav Zidd mat karo. I mean like seriously ? Who was the one who was doing zidd when Raghav explicitly said that Pallavi and his marriage is legal and valid. It was so funny to see Mandar threaten Raghav and Raghav laughing out saying - What a Joke. I was so happy to see Raghav totally putting Mandar in his place.

@green:- Yup Mandar can run and hide but Raghav is definitely going to hunt him down. And if Mandar dare hurt Pallavi then he is dead meat. No two ways about it.
